Well, as far as I could tell either the scooter's battery is prone to explosions or the scooter is prone to explosions if the battery isn't installed properly. Either way, you're a good dad for putting yourself in danger to ensure that your child will never have to walk down the sidewalk with the rest of us.

Batteries catch fire if you leave it charging for too long.
I was riding it fine but couldn't figure out how to get off. I tried jumping and the thing went nuts and spun out and I landed on my ass. Needless to say my kid was in shock, but laughed when he realized I was okay.
