It is interesting today the fact that the Habs didn't have Emelin Eller and Tinordi on the ice for no reason. It adds fuel to the fire of MTL looking to make a trade.
The two names I seen in play are Wayne Simmonds and Vrbata . I seen who the Habs had on RW on Saturday and that explains everything about why they need to do something. They could go after both players.
I would like to get Tinordi and a third for Vrbata. Tinordi has been written off but IMO would be a good partner with Pedan. Both players are an adventure but so is Sbisa and Weber. That bottom pairing would provide a lot of big hits and toughness , and they would have each other's back. They are both extremely young and can learn the game together - VANTEL
At this point bringing Tinordi in won't hurt us at all. For a change it would be nice to see Tinordi and Pedan punishing guys for standing in front of our net staring down at our goalies. Don't care if there are penalties...make them know and pay for standing there. |

Marner shying away from corner boards against a Danish player. He's not impressed me at all. Looks soft and makes bad decisions with the puck. - Scooby_Doo
didnt realize Canada was on already
just i time to see a goal against.

If they stick to a simple game , don't try to do too much , they could make other teams take less liberties. It would take about two years to them to get chemistry but it would be a cheap fix for toughness on the back end, and we could spend more money on the higher pairings |

I just want Vrbata gone for assets. Tinordi would be intriguing for sure but having Pedan and Tryamkin perhaps he is redundant. We do need to get bigger and tougher and he for sure brings that.
Montreal has nothing on the right side currently and Vrbatas spot could go to Shink, Gaunce or Grenier. At least then you can see what you have them moving forward especially with Grenier because this is his last year being waiver exempt.
If Jensen isnt in your future plans perhaps you could toss him in there with the sedins to showcase him and hopefully unload him to a team like the Devils who dont have much for young forwards. |

Cant be any worse than Weber. I would take him too. Makes it that much easier to deal Hamhuis, Weber and Bartkowski at the deadline. |

I am not against claiming him but I think he will be picked up well before he makes it to our choice.
He is from the same cloth as COrrado or Clendennig so it's not a big deal.
I want to see how Pedan plays tonight against a big Kings team |

Tryamkin is a big mystery. No one knows if he is coming here or really what style he plays. Very hard to get any kind of gauge on him |

I don't think any of these players are ready for 2nd line duties in the NHL.
Especially lining up with other young guns like Bo and Baer. A vet is needed in this role. |

Defensively I think Rundblad would be an upgrade over what was Corrado and what currently is Clendening and Weber. Right hand shot too plus a Swede...might mesh with the Sedins a bit. Hard to say. |

I'd pay to see DBrown get laid out or at least smooshed into the boards... |

Would love to see Pedan crush 7 Queens then cap it off by beating the carp out of Lucic...just don't hurt him too bad for when he signs in Van next year... |

Is Sven? - VANTEL
Good question.
He is clearly ahead of those 3 AHLers at this point.
My point being we need a bit of a veteran presence on that line, to say nothing of Vrby's spot on the PP1.
I too hope we move him at some point, but i'm not sure the suggestion of a big Dman who can barely crack an NHL roster and a 3rd cuts it, especially when we're currently 2nd in the PAcific (games in hand, yes i know).
Just saying is all im saying. |

3 goals in 6 years. He makes Tanev look like a scoring machine.
Pedan is a bigger cheaper younger harder hitter. Like I said I don't care if we get him , but people are getting excited over very little |

This team is doing nothing this year, after everyone plays there games in hand were going to be a bottom 5 team. So who cares just play them and see what you have moving forward. |

Sutter will be back soon. We just have to squeak by this year. With the cap space we can shop for a top 6 player this summer. Grenier stepping in for four weeks wouldn't hurt as much as we think. Would it matter if we slipped from 21 St to 25 th? |

This is my thinking too. I wana see what Pedan can do but for insurance id take Runblad can always waive him later this year if need be. |
