Yup you guys did well, there is a lot of complaining and female doging from some Av fans still and then you get other guys who just like to pile on the Avs.
But end of the day Avs got Sodeberg, Comeau, and Beauchemin under contract for the cap hit price of ROR and McGinn. Sure they gave up the best player in the trade but they were able to sign better depth guys plus build a pipeline to replace guys over time.
some guys just want to announce a trade winner as soon as it happens and just look at it based on points alone.
Im happy, you guys are happy, so group hug? - DDM-Coga
McGinn is doing very nicely and has better numbers than Comeau and slightly worse than Beauchemin
it seems that you have missed the point of that whole thing
Its not a 1 or 2 comparison but a team comparison - DDM-Coga
No I got it. You said the three of them were for the same price as O'Riley and McGinn right? Also you said they got better depth guys. Maybe I'm misreading what you were saying but it sounded like you were saying the three of them were better depth than McGinn.

yes bc McGinn doesn't play on the PK, Sobderbeg and Comeau do, thats what I mean about roster depth
Innocent until proven guilty. I agree. So for the sake of this post I am assuming that Kane is innocent.
Wtf is he thinking? Wtf is he doing? How is he so stupid to allow himself to be put in this position?
Like it or not he represents the Sabres organization. Like it or not he is a role model for many. He is so selfish and wrapped up with showing off his money and himself that he cares about nothing else.
I will be booing Kane tonight and every night until we are rid of him. I won't be booing him for the rape allegations. I will be booing because he is seen out on Chippewa, wasted, well after midnight on the Friday night, or should i say Saturday morning, before the afternoon game against Chicago the Saturday before Christmas. I will be booing because he had just spent Christmas with his girlfriend, and as soon as she leaves he is out bedding some girl he doesn't even know, whether or not she alleges sexual misconduct. I will be booing because he charters helicopter rides to baseball games. And I will be booing because I care more about the success of this team than he does.
There was a reason Kane was singled out in the locker room by his teammates in Winnipeg. He is a bad egg. We took their trouble off of them and paid a huge price. I never hear Winnipeg fans complaining or questioning that trade. I only hear good riddance, and that he was nothing but trouble.
Tim Murray paid a premium price for a guy with character issues. Murray does deserve criticism. There was no need to take a chance on a guy, notorious for his bad reputation. No need at all.
I don't want Kane in the same locker room as Eichel, Reinhart and Ristolainen. He is a cheating womanizer who doesn't give his best. You don't go out to Encore and get trashed the night before a matinee game. That is called letting your teammates down and it's probably why his teammates in Winnipeg wanted him gone.
Don't tell me I lose my fanhood for booing Kane. He is a selfish, cheating womanizer.
Don't tell me this is not on Murray. There was sufficient evidence to see that Kane was trouble.
This guy is more concerned with getting his party on than he is with being his best. He puts himself in positions where he is missing practice and creating distractions. I can't wait until he is gone. What a piece of garbage. - SabresPanacea

Okay but he does play on the PP and is sneakly good at it. McGinn was injured for you guys last year he's been a top six player for our team out performing skilled guys in the point factor.

I love McGinn a lot, i still feel like he was a piece that didn't need to be included in that trade, but I think they really wanted compher too so had to add.
