They might waive....why wouldn't they? - Jeropotato
They're probably scared they're going to be waved to the minors in a year like they should be |

Just checked, he's making 2.95 on this deal. A slight raise of 4 million a year will get it done. three years 4 million a year. He's more than a seven forward on this team. I doubt Murray does a lot of heavy UFA spending this off season meaning he's still a top six guy on our team. - bluengold12
If that's your idea of a slight raise can I come work for you?
All kidding aside, that's about what he's worth. Maybe 4 for 4, That'll take him to 31., but look at Moulson and Gionta, skills degrade fast. Although what's maddening about Gionta is all of a sudden he'll come out of no where looking like he was shot out of a cannon, so you know he's capable of it, at least intermittently, but I've only seen that a handful of times this year, and I've seen all but about 30 minutes of the season so far. |

Front loaded so the cap hit is a little less in last 2 years. Plus it makes him attractive to trade if we are so inclined. - Maximum Signal
Cap hit stays the same over the length of the deal. It isn't the NFL. His salary can go down though, but only 10% year over year and the last year can't be any less than 50% of the maximum salary, or the cap hit I can't remember which, so there're no more Keith, Hossa, Pronger, Kovalchuk deals anymore where they pay the guy the league minimum over the last 3 years when they know he won't play anyway, just so they can get the cap hit down and give him all the money up front. |

You can have them both for a second round pick that's a good deal 2 for 1 |

I was thinking 4.6 . 4.15 . 3.7 3.35. Come that 3rd and 4th year we will need every cent

That's arguably the best team in the league we just played. There two breakdowns, and one bad hop. If we could only get the power play to click ... Or get ANYbody that can play alongside Eichel.
Still learning. Still not halfway through this season ...

I thought Gionta had one . And I don't know if it matters to Moulson

So apparently what people know of the Evander situation is most of the story. Her story that got to the media is the same one she's told everyone. The girl supposedly doesn't want to cause problems for Kane, but also can't really remember what happened. |

If him and ROR are as tight as people say maybe that works in our favor. Wishful thinking I guess. - Maximum Signal
His family brother ties (Arizona & Carolina) plus his Toronto, Ontario roots will all come into question for him, I think those trump his ROR friendship. McGinn has been traded twice already (has lots of ex-teammates "Boys") so I think he goes more the family and friends route if he does hit open market.
So staying in Buffalo is a reality if the price is right, but wouldn't be shocked to see him in Ottawa or Toronto either. |

Intoxicated, most likely. In what form I have no idea. Her encounter required a visit to the hospital afterwards. She took some heavy damage to the point where the hospital staff, by law, pressed her about WTF happened to her. Let me say it's the type of damage I don't think Gionta or Ennis could have inflicted, if you know what I mean. |

We are 75 minutes from TO without the high cost of living . A 350,00 house in Amherst is a 1.5 to 2 million dollar house in Toronto. Believe me I have lived in Both . I prefer Buffalo. That is why we have a lot of NHL retirees here.

Murray wanted McGinn in with the deal so I really think there'll be no doubt on contract negotiations.
But, the real question will be, has Chad Johnsons steady play made him a tradable asset at the deadline? Lehner will be back, so he stays, plus what we gave up for him, sheesh. Ullmark will back Lehner up, there is no room for him in Rochester unless they send either Mak or Lew to Elimira. Johnson's contract is up so he's out and won't be renewed. |
