Quotes not working for me.
SnapIt, I am glad you mentioned "picks". I have been frustrated since the day the great Scotty has been a part of this organ-I-zation. He created the Wings dynasty based on a Pick-offense. Why has he not had any influence (along with Barry Smith) to teach that part of the game. Teams kill the Blackhawks with picks and interference, yet this Blackhawks team fails to set picks on a consistant basis. |

Seems like Runblad will end up in Rockford along with Bickell and Scuderi-- opening more cap space and roster room for a significant addition - jb3333
I wonder whose definition of significant this will be. |

What are the odds someone picks Rundblad off the waiver wire? |

Most of us here know Shaw's value, and very few of us would be very happy if Shaw were to leave.
It would be a bad day (week, month, year, decade) for Stan if Shaw were to be gone.
(Unless of course the got Stamkos or Tom Wilson for him) - vabeachbear
Agree with the above and will add he is still improving his play and it puts TT on the right side where he belongs |

>Q is a HOF coach -- but just getting better players won't be a total fix
>Q needs to add some new wrinkles to the Hawks team approach
>With all the sagging, clutching, grabbing -- many of the goals I've seen around the league off the rush seem to happen with the puck-carrier dropping the puck to a trailer and then picking the defender for the trailer
>Or players getting wide open from picks below the goal line in the OZ
>in his Wing days, Babcock dared the refs to call his team on picks -- the refs seldom did |

Yes but what is he looking for in a new contract? To me that's huge and Stan better ask. - z1990z
i'm guessing $4-4.5 for boedker. I think he's been a little more consistent than belesky at $3.8; and should get paid for that.
maybe dano + some conditional picks (based on re-signing) would work for both sides. |

get away with what ever you can...actually the hawks are pretty good at that ruboff/pick play... |

Dano seems like too high a prospect to go for a rental
Rarely do that high of a prospect go at the TDL |

Was at the game last night. Have never seen a team so disinterested in playing, not willing to work and just going through the motions. There wasn't a single guy in red last night that looked like he wanted to be there. Maybe 24 and that's about it.
6 years has officially caught up to the group. Tired, tired team. |

If AZ isn't able to resign him the Hawks don't really have to worry about next year right now. |
