No, no it's not, it's still the same people from Sports Page that Carson brought over, now you have the producers and interns doing all talking and they're just as bad. The only difference is, you only hear them when the regular crew is on vacation or off sick.

yep. something wrong with intentional tanking and getting rewarded for losing. that is the way it is being run now, looking forward to a different approach.

Tanking takes place at the managerial level with the manipulation of the lineup. Coaches and players are usually trying to win regardless. But there is nothing they can do once MNGT decides to go after a draft pick which is what this team needs to do. Whether people on here like it or not it's what needs to happen. By keeping Burrows Weber Higgins Hamhuis Vrbata and a few others in the lineup Benning is eyeing a draft pick. If we somehow magically make the PO's (which we shouldn't)...but if we do mentalities will shift. Benning has made some good moves and is not a moron. He knows we are a bottom 10 team right now with 8 OT losses and a sub .500 record so basically we are 8 games below .500. I'm thinking he is scouting hard an seriously eyeing up a top 6 pick for the upcoming draft...hoping.

I was listening last week and heard some call in shows, I find that more entertaining than many of the usual segments. It reminds me of some news shows that seem so devoted to the human interest stuff that they don't bother covering all the news.

no argument with your logic, we have one foot in and one foot out of the playoffs in a messed up division and have no chance beyond a first round exit.

I was trying to agree with lefty, with the way it is set up presently, teams are rewarded for tanking and I would look forward to a change where teams don't benefit so much by intentionally tanking...

wasn't there a badminton scandal at the Olympics where a team basically threw some matches to have an easier path to a medal? and then were later dq'd or sanctioned? something wrong when the Olympics has more integrity to the nhl.
