I would think so too but unless they are told not to enter the offensive zone at all, there isnt anything to stop a goal like the last one from happening.

Goalie needs to make a save and the defenders need to stop getting beat so easily. For the swiss today neither have happened.

I can't watch it either, but when you're up 10-1 in the 2nd, it's usually more than luck.

We might not need magic. Sabres currently have 34 points in 36 games. That's 3 points out of last. Only teams below us are Toronto, Columbus, and, of course, the Edmonton Oilers.

Keep this up and we can get that top line winger for Eichel in the draft and then only have to worry about a top 4 D.

I forgot to DVR the Canada-Swiss game yesterday, but it seems to me like the US watched that game and had their guard up. That and the sour taste of getting shut out by Sweden probably had them ready to go.

Personally I take the winger but either way our team would benefit. It's hard to find good defensemen but they sometimes take longer to make an impact. If we're saying next year is the year we need to start making the playoffs he might need more time than that. Then again, some don't need a full year or two so it could be huge.

Jack could be the center that makes his linemates better players than they are, but that would be later down the road if he gets there. For now, he needs skill and chemistry with that skill.

Only problem is that when he was accused he was playing in europe because of the NHL strike. He was one of three accused. Charges were dropped two days later. And he was released from his club because of it, and banned from his national team for one year, even though his name was cleared.

By the time the Tallinder was back playing for the Sabres his name had been cleared, he caused our club zero distractions and missed no practices because of it.

How stupid do you have to be to be In the position he finds himself in now. A mere 3 months after the PKane scandal.

He is either the stupidest player to ever lace up skates, or he has absolutely no control over his impulses.

The only thing of which I am saying Kane is guilty, is being stupid and selfish.

It is not okay to go bar hopping and be trashed in the early morning before a matinee game. It is not okay to miss practice because of avoidable circumstances. It is not okay to cheat on people.

I blame Tim Murray, but not for the reason you are thinking. I am fine with him making a lopsided trade for another teams problem players. But maybe if he had the foresight to make more lopsided trades for more players with bad character then Kane wouldn't stick out like a sore thumb right now.

In the forty five years since the Sabres were established in 1970 has there ever been another player accused of rape? It only took Kane 3 months. At least he isn't lazy and doesnt procrastinate.
