A little, but not as much as finishing 22nd and needing it. And even if we do pick 4th, we could still get the remainder of Matthews, Tkhachuk, and the finns. Whoever we get, these names are so much harder to type than McDavid and Eichel.

Easy. The NHL will fix all of our problems. When Quebec and LV/Seattle come into the league he'll be put into the expansion draft. The NHLPA will have their fight about them not being able to be put up but with the number of players with NTC or NMCs it'll be unavoidable that they are available as well.

He'll finish his years in the NHL as a Nordique and the Sabres will be free. Mission Accomplished.

We might not need magic. Sabres currently have 34 points in 36 games. That's 3 points out of last. Only teams below us are Toronto, Columbus, and, of course, the Edmonton Oilers.

Keep this up and we can get that top line winger for Eichel in the draft and then only have to worry about a top 4 D.

Didn't ROR get a DWI? I didn't hear this outcry from you about him. Is it because he's playing well and Kane is only playing average. Man, pull your head out of the dirt. Like other people said, they're athletes, not choir boys. Would I like them to be all good guys with insane skill that less than 1% have? Sure I would, but that will never be the case.
