What teams dont want the extra year? With how important the draft is becoming, I think teams are not as willing to give up high picks for rentals - YuenglingJagr
team a, b, and c....no idea what teams just like you have no idea if teams will take the extra year...all speculation on both parts. some team may some may not. |

Thanks Bill. Hope your X-mas was a good one. Did you see coach trying Read or Scotty L. at LW on the first line during practice? I hate to see those guys stuck on the 4th line, and the team continuing to struggle with even strength scoring. If not, maybe it would be worth a try; the only chance taken would be a continued lack of scoring...lol.

I wouldn't mind seeing Laughton tried. They have tried Read in the past and he really didn't do much there. |

WHy does the carousel have to start? You let Neuvirth play and run with it. I don't agree that letting Neuvirth run with it is starting the carousel all over. Neuvirth isn't like getting a retread Boucher or career minor leaguer like Leighton. All honesty they should have just run with Bobrovsky during that year.
I just don't subscribe to the theory that Neuvirth can't play this way for more then 15 games. How did Mason win his job here? He played well at the end of the season and once Bryz was moved he won the job from Emery the next season.
And maybe Boedker isn't the guy. I like his game and think he would really flourish here. I like his skill set. But even then, if the coyotes are so desperate like Maloney has said then you try to get a premium. Get a 1st rounder and Perlini. Or prospects like Henrik Samuelsson or Chrsitian Dvorak. - J35Bacher
His career numbers tell us that.

Why do you subscribe that Mason isn't the guy then? That's what doesn't make any sense. The sample size for Mason is much larger.
What are you willing to pay Boedker to re-sign him? |

I wouldn't worry, we're all pretty used to these cap problems decisions by now. |

If only they could have buried another $100k, it'd be $6.9m in dead space |

I'd say it's overblown. Their still able to ice a mediocre team despite all the perceived cap issues |
