I like Tkachuck as well. But again, after mathews I'm taking JC hands down if he's available - Bieksa#3
I think Arizona takes Tkachuk or trades to make sure they get him. Having a player dynasty there would bring in the fans. |

That's what I would start the top line in Utica as next year. See how they play together, could be a good bottom pairing in NHL. Match under size with oversize. - Retinalz
Tryamkin should get a little seasoning in Utica, it would be great if he could get over here for the Comets playoffs, if they make it, but not sure how late the KHL season goes...

And they love the whole nhl background crap. Like their last 6 or7 firsts have a father or brother who played in the bigs |

Agreed. But the guy behind the bench is lost.
There are no defined roles, they are flying by the seat of their pants.
Dylan Strome has looked good. Brayden Point has been alright. The rest have been awful. Virtanen and Marner are 2 of my favorite players on the team and both have been pathetic. - Bieksa#3
Ya no structure at all. Guys are just flying around. |

Ya I said outside the top 5 as its obvious who the top 5 will be and none of those 3 or the finns will be there. |

Hey, I had MDC as my top forward. Although I've been disappointed by his performance this yr, I'm still a huge fan and still think he should have went before 5 - Bieksa#3
Same, was hoping Drai or MDC would fall out of the top 5. |

But not specifically for the Coyotes. Tkachuk was loved by fans there. His son could bring ticket sales. |

Thats who I was hoping for at 6. Cant believe he hasnt lit things up since. I wanted Bennet or Ekblad but that was total pipe dream and neither were sliding to 6. |

They really need Dmen. They are just loaded up front and are going to be scary good in a couple years. |

Hansen fined for diving - Bieksa#3
they have to clean up the game, starting with the divers, sooner or later they will go after the elbows and head shots. as we all know diving is a major cause of concussions and lack of scoring. |

OEL(will win a Norris or 2)
Murphy

While I know this is tongue and cheek, but I am happy they are fining diving. |

Yeah all good but have zero prospects not in the NHL on D that look any good. Usually you can kinda have an idea of who is going where but I think this draft is going to be all over the map. |

Draft JC and then move up with picks acquired from vrbata/hammer to get Fabbro as well
EDIT:
Chych-Fabbro
Hutton-Tanev
Tryamkin-Subban
that would look nice in 3-4 years |

I have nothing against fining for diving.
But can also see how players may dive if they are getting fed up with non calls. It all goes together with refs managing/mismanaging games. What are they letting go, what can I get away with?
With Henrik and the elbow, if he would have stayed down longer, would he have gotten the call? The elbow is a penalty and embellishment is also, which is worse for a player's safety? |

Really impressive? There's been some solid players from Canada, but to call anybody other then Strome impressive is a stretch
That Konecny has a bit of Darcy Tucker in him |

You keep the right vets, not the wrong ones. Sorry but Higgins is the wrong vet to keep. He is useless on the ice, and he doesn't offer anything off the ice that other vets can't offer. I am only suggesting 1 vet to be moves(higgins) for a specific reason. Hammer and Vrbata should be traded for assets. Anyone who doesnt agree is entitled to their opnion, but are still morons. We keep them for what? Vet presence until the end of the season(early april), miss the playoffs and then let them walk for nothing? Sorry but if your not going to extend those 2, trade them. There is no other correct option when it comes to Vrbata and Hammer and, to a similar extent, Higgins. - Retinalz
JB already said that he couldn't trade Higgins, you easy up 1.4 million in cap if you send him down so it doesn't save anything.
