I get the feeling he won't want to leave his family.......or disrupt them during the school year. Whatever, it's his negotiated right. |

I personally think he'll move if the right situation presents itself. Don't have a chance to go to a contender every yr. |

No worries there, obviously their CEO knows a thing or two about marketing.
Now the real question is, what were you googling to get to that advertisement? - Makita

Here's a pretty expensive milk ad.

You clearly must not watch a lot of hockey. Check back at the end of the year....this team is comfortably bottom 5 in the league. - Bullfrog77
I am watching hockey, and the standings.
Have you by chance noticed anything odd with the Pacific lately?
Most comfortable "bottom 5 team" not in the bottom five.
Even Torts couldn't manage that pursuit |

I get this feeling as well.
Seems like a bit of a traditional family man.
On the other hand, he wouldn't have to necessarily move his family if he joins another team for just a couple months at the end of the season.
Ma and Grandma can handle the kids in the meantime.
Plus i'm pretty sure he can afford a nanny or two to pitch in.
The question is where would be a good fit for Dan?

That's tricky. Where/how does he want to live ? Also, where is he a good fit.
He'd be a good fit on a number of teams, even a team like the Habs he could play LHD with Subban. Isles make sense, as do a couple of teams in the west as well as the Florida teams.
Probably don't want to take back salary beyond this year in the deal, so I don't think he'll end up in MTL. |

So I'm going through old boxes today and find a bunch of old hockey cards and comics... highlight: 97/98 "hockey stars" bicycle playing cards, full deck. Only active player in the deck is Jagr.... guy is unreal |

It's too bad in all his travels he never made it on to the Nucks. |

As an outsider I dunno if you should be bashing the leafs oilers or any Canadian team really ...I like both their teams moving forward more than the nucks ...if this season goes well prospect wise that can change but right now the high end skill pieces just aren't there yet in van - Redmile247
Neither team has made the playoffs in 15 years so one would assume they should have better prospects or there is a serious (frank)ing problem. The leafs probably dont have better prospects than the Canucks. |

It be cool to bring em both in the fold just like we did with Hank and Dank. - dbot
That would be sick especially since all of our forwards are small. Other than Gaunce I dont think we have 1 forward that will be on this team in 2 years over 6 feet unless the Sedins and Sutter are but they dont play a physical game anyway..

Western Conference, to much travel, I think he only played 25-30 games with the Stars. |

Call me crazy, but I think he's saying he doesn't want 10 yrs of just missing the playoffs like the flames and leafs.
Don't bash Toronto to bad. Gaurentee they are a good team before edm. What a (frank)ing disaster that is. - Bieksa#3
Ya thats what I meant. I dont think any Canuck fan wants to just miss the playoffs for 10 years lol |

I wondered the same thing. Colorado? If they are still making the push. The kings? Look at the Rangers grabbing Yandle for bottom pairing minutes just as insurance.. Any other team with a top 4 injury going in to the playoffs. Its too bad hes been paired with Weber for most of the season, if he had a legit top 4 guy his numbers would be much better. |

I think it's full. I saw on 4th period it seems that all the limited ones say they are, with either details or details unknown. Apparently only Miller's is limited out of the 25 NTC's our roster has. |

Did you notice almost every team has several games in hand? Or that they have a losing record against everyone in there division? Do you honestly think the ducks won't get there poop together? The oilers and flames are both trending up ....the nucks....yeah bottom of the league team....can take it to the bank |
