What was Bogo doing standing still at the blue line? It looked like he was trying to draw a penalty or something |

that sucked.
Not sure if they stopped hitting or Washington changed their game and the Sabres were a step behind.
Regardless, the first period seemed to be working. not sure what happened after that. |

Caps made some adjustments after the first, and they got way more pressure and chances the rest of the way.
Kane played great the first half, then sucked... Rhino was invisible, Johnson was game mvp until the 3rd, and Gio scored then was useless after that. 15 and 28 were great. Good effort overall but sucks to lose the 4 points.
I haven't disliked the Caps since 1998/Petr Bondra/Kolzig era, but that is changing. |

Agreed, Sabres just are too young and just flat out not good enough yet to hang with the big dogs in the league. They could have made it closer if Johnson didn't give one away and if the Sabres actually hit the back of the net instead of the crossbar 3 times. Either way the Caps are the better team and played a better game. At least it was competitive for most of the game unlike most of last year. Just a couple more years and no reason why the Sabres can't be a top team.
Also I thought Weber played a good game tonight. No gaffe's in his game tonight and played sound defensively along with Franson against one of the best teams. Sabres also got to cut out the silly penalties. Helped the Caps generate a lot of momentum. |

I have 1 freaking point from my goalies this week so far. Anderson and Jones. And somehow I'm only down 1 184 to 185. |

While the ending stunk, that was a very entertaining game.
On an unrelated note, and this is mainly for Gerbe: if what I read from someone who says they saw a screening of Batman versus Superman last night is true, people are going to go crazy when they see the movie. |

I still want to know how Chris Neil gets away with try to pop McQuaid's eye out, and yet Marchand gets 3 games for his dirty, punk hit on Borowiecki. Don't get me wrong; I hate both teams, but how does Neil, whose incident happened in the same game and was just as, if not more dirty than Marchand's not even get a phone call? |

Besides his Goal, I thought Gio was useless as usual. Everywhere on the ice.
and we just need to call up Kaleta next time and tell him to knock out ovi's teeth.
He got no respect from Risto, but as the game went on, everyone just started to back off. |

He tied up two players on Girgensons goal. That line was good. Hope they stay together.

While I agree with the concept that the 21st for Lehner wasn't a good trade, I go back to 2014. 2nd round. Barbashev is still available. He picks Brendan Lemieux instead. There's no guarantee he picks White there. |

Interesting stat they just talked about during the Philly-SJ game. This is the first year Canadians make up less than 50% of players. |
