Agreed, and that's exactly what I said when the trade was made. He was overhyped as this top line 30 goal scorer when that was far from the truth his last few years.

When p kane was in the news for the same issue no one had a problem with anything said about him. Now it is taboo to mention the biggest thing to do with this team, currently. Is there any bigger news? Yet mentioning it gets everyone in a huff.
I am not crucifying him for the allegations, for the 100th time. I am criticizing him for everything else. The fact that he has not learned to stay out of trouble, is not growing up, etc.
Everyone who argues against me on this eventually says I am saying he is guilty and blah, blah, blah.

People object to your over-the-top execution of him, period.
We are not approving of his behavior.
He hasn't been arrested, yet, if at all. Big difference there.
He is being investigated for something that was reported as a mandatory outcome of the girl going to the hospital after she couldn't remember what happened. Big difference.
Now, if he is guilty of something, then it can be dealt with.
Being stupid isn't a crime ( but maybe it should be).

This I can get behind..and I have been pretty vocal about his stupid shot selections on the ice actually harming the Sabres play. They need to cure him of that fast.

I didn't crucify Pat Kane when everything was going on with him either. I maintained the same stance with that as I do with Evander. Innocent until proven guilty. However, Pat Kane actually has a past history of issues that required law enforcement to intervene. That's where the difference lies here.
Pat Kane goes out and parties all the time too. Up until this past summer, the Hawks actually paid someone to follow him around and keep him out of trouble. No joke. For them, it was worth it to protect their investment. He got targeted this past summer and it very well could have ruined him. Hopefully he's learned his lesson. And hopefully Evander learns his now.

I actually defended the other Kane too. There's a legal prices for a reason.
And is he immature? Maybe. I don't know him personally so I can't tell. The other stuff you showed, to me, wasn't bad at all. Like I said, he's a person too. I'm 22 so him tweeting is a 100% non issue. Him taking pictures is nothing to me. Other than that this is one of the few things that I've seen him do that, if it's true, will be serious.
Him tweeting doesn't deserve us saying that Sam should stay away from him in my opinion. Him being benched isn't an issue, otherwise jack should stay away from Moulson. And the incidents that were investigated and not proven, in my opinion, shouldn't be used because they're not proven.

Kane has been getting alot of quality chances latley. Robbed by Holtby the other night and has hit some posts. I think they will start going in for him eventually.
Moulson on the other hand hasn't hasnt scored in what? 25 games?? and hasnt had a good scoring chance in god knows how long. If anyone is a disappointment this year its him. The guy is getting paid 8 million this year (5mil cap hit, 3 mil bonus) and 7 mil the next two. Im much quicker to criticize Murray for signing Moulson to that contract than trading for Kane.

Buyout doesn't do much for us. First three years of the buyout:
2016-17 2.88 mil hit
2017-18 2.88 mil hit
2018-19 3.88 mil hit - Sabresfan-365
Not 100% on how that works. His cap hit is 5 mil for the next 3 years (not to mention the yearly bonuses) which seems crazy to me when you look at his age and lack of production.

Both incidents were independently investigated and nothing came out of them. So, what? The restaurant one especially, the free press could find nothing to support the claim. Does that mean it didn't happen, no. But it doesn't mean it happened either.
