Softest team in Hockey and it's open season on Letang. I said this at the beginning of the year and everyone was worried about penalties or retaliation!!! How's all the 4 skilled lines working out this year? No Grit was needed we just need to ignore scrum's? If we made the playoffs Letang would be a shell of the player he could be. Malkin is next. Gets shots to the head with no answer!!!
BTW I would take Tanner Glass the worst player in the league over Politnikov or Porter!!!

Again an over-exagerated use of the word inexcusable. The Kamir Rouge was inexcusable, the Holocaust was inexcusable, Donald Trump's hair is inexcusable. Having a bad first period on the 2nd night of a back to back and playing on the road is expectable and coming from behind to tie the game is exceptional.

Pens gotta win this game. Can't walk away without 2 points. They're the better team.

There is no planet or dimension where I'd want Tanner Glass back in a Pens uni. Plots and Porter might not be good, but Glass was the biggest salary thief since Ziggy Palffy in Pittsburgh.

Those 2 are just as useless minus the willingness to stand up for their teammates.

Couple points out 40+ game left, I know they've been having a rough go....but many teams start the first 1/2 slow...pens will make the playoffs in 8th....right behind the Leafs

They desperately needed it. Can't afford to lose another game where they outplay the opposition. Maybe it's just this game, but Detoilet turns the puck over a lot in their own zone.

We'll just disagree on this. There are degree's of uselessness and Tanner Glass has his picture on Wikipedia as useless.

Cullen can't play top 6 minutes because he and Fehr need to be the first PK unit. Bonino and Porter are fine but they need to be cleanup not the first unit on the ice. Dumoulin has quietly had a great game defensively. Aside from the first period this has been a very good structurally game for us.

I understand that the record hasn't been great under Sullivan, but this is definitely a different team. Plus, Perron may not be scoring yet, however he's doing a lot of small things right. He's been physical, using his hands, lugging the puck, not bad in his own end. He's always been streaky with goals. Once he gets hot he seems to stay hot for about 15 games or so.

I don't see this team missing the playoffs playing the way they have the last 8 games.

LAK missed last postseason because they couldn't get score enough and had trouble getting points in the OT/SO. They outplayed most of their opponents.

Great to see some results, pucks in the back of the net! Hornqvist with possibly his most productive game of the year, 1G 2A.

So... I'll throw out the negative of this game... another slow start for the Pens scoring wise, down in the first and having to battle back.

Now, us being able to battle back and win is a (frank)ing nice change of pace, but how about an early lead and just lean on the other team all night type of game next?

edit: oh, another negative, more obvious... Zatkoff looks bad. He was fine when as a backup with Flower healthy, and good the last few years when called up/backing up. But did he get crippled with a case of the nerves when he was going to be doing an even share with Murray or something?

Apparently an angry Letang is a good Letang.

Side note, when I switched from wine to whiskey marked the turn around. I'm wondering if I can handle this responsibility?

Nice come back, real nice.
