Well what a nice surprise that's been! Behind by 2 away against a quality team, then exploding & going 5-0! Great work nice win & valuable 2 points but maybe even more valuable a comeback win with 5 goals scored.
Well done Pens!! Good job! |

With Crosby playing like Crosby I'd say there's a good chance. MAF would have won a couple of the losses under Sullivan so there's that to look forward to.
What the hell happened to Maatta? Steigy said he went to the dressing room early. |

IDK. Bonino didn't come back either right? Maatta-Letang are a good pairing, but Jesus they are made of glass. |

Yeah, finally. My New Year's wish will be for their shooting% to regress to normal levels. |

Bonino returned, he was the guy who negated the icing not long before goal number five. |

No negativity allowed. We are going to win the Stanley Cup. Seriously though I like the way Sullivan has these guys playing. I hope it lasts a long time. |

This is marked improvement! Numbers are telling a pretty good story right now. |

No way of knowing. Maybe he shuts the Peg and the Cains out. It's plausible considering how good he's been this year. He's stolen several games this year. |

This win was a character win all the way. Crosby and Malkin scored when they needed to and Crosby has been Crosby the last 20 games or so. Lets catch the garbage Devils and acquire a playoff spot. The Rangers and the Islanders look pretty fragile right now. Unfortunately the Caps are firing on all cylinders but that will not last. |

I understand that the record hasn't been great under Sullivan, but this is definitely a different team. Plus, Perron may not be scoring yet, however he's doing a lot of small things right. He's been physical, using his hands, lugging the puck, not bad in his own end. He's always been streaky with goals. Once he gets hot he seems to stay hot for about 15 games or so.
I don't see this team missing the playoffs playing the way they have the last 8 games. - cranktheradio
I agree with Perron. I hope we resign him soon. I have no issues with his effort and results will come. He can play on any line. A 3*3 mill deal would be perfect. |

It is, and it could have very easily been a 5 game winning streak right now! Nevertheless, it is what i think to be huge strides in all phases of the game. Pucks just need to go in the net in order for it to be effective, that is all! |

You know who's pissing me off though? Hornqvist. The (frank)? He was a shot of breath air last year and now he's just a classic Penguin. (frank) you dude. Help yourself and help us. |

Hornqvist was all over the net tonight, I though he looked great. I don't understand how anyone can criticize Hornqvist and compliment Perron in the same sentence. Hornqvist get more shots a game than anyone on our team, he's our agitator and net front guy, he plays balls to the wall every shift. All I see from Perron is a guy who is never where he should be and always looking where the puck isn't. |
