Sorry that is when your attitude changed . Many here agree with me. I loved Myers to and still follow him . But he is not here anymore. It took me a while to get over it . But I did.

I'm not enthralled with Kane's performance to date, and I have been the most vocal about his idiotic game. I think the coaches really need to sit down with him and give him a Hockey 101 - 440 course using video of his play and the result.
We are paying you $M's to hit the damn net...not blast it off the wall and out of the zone...maybe he should attend OReilly Practice with Samson.

To be honest I expected somewhere close to a 30 goal season with him playing with Eichel or ROR.

He hasn't played near that level yet. Maybe he just doesn't have that level, but I am not throwing my hands up in the air saying F this guy when he's played 28 games in a Sabres sweater.

Yea if he resigns here i think its probable barring injury that he would get near or to 30 goals when this team is better. He has had a goal overturned, was robbed blind by holtby the other night, goal post in ot a few games before that. I think he has played well this season, and would love to see him in the playoffs someday for us. I think he is one of our best forecheckers

Talk about a huge disappointment. He has made more boneheaded plays in his 23 games this season than he did all in the last 2 seasons on the worst teams in the league.

You don't like what was given up to acquire Kane. I get it, but man you're acting like it's all on Evander Kane.

Yea he isnt the smartest. I would like to see him cut down on the shooting for the sake of it. Not eliminate it but cut it down some. I think he would be well to be on oreillys line if girgensons is going to be with eichel.

Maybe , but I really think that combination needs a shot . Dan has seemingly tried everything else. They do need to work with Kane. But I really hope his maturity grows on and off the ice. Might be time for Uncle Terry to have a chat with him. He might just respond to that or the team should fly his dad in for a while . He seemed to respond when his father commented on his game. Trying to think outside the box as the kid does have the tools.

My issue isn't with Reinhart or any of the young players. Most of them are meeting or even exceeding expectations. The problems are with the veterans. And the other teams that did tear down didn't empty the cupboards to acquire veterans immediately after drafting their centerpieces. The Buffalo Sabres did. The result should be and is absolutely unacceptable.

I'd prefer to wait until all 82 games have been played and the final results are in for the season before deciding how awful the season has been overall before making that judgment.

A serious question for all of you that are so upset with the team: what is the real, tangible difference between them finishing say 28th or 23rd overall? How you feel about the final result?

Further, what is better for the team long term: finishing 28th or 23th overall?

Since the answer seems obvious, for THIS season only, why not sit back, try and enjoy the games, and stop constantly complaining?
