Markstrom was excellent. In position and a boss all night. Kessler is a classless individual with his remarks. He is obviously bitter that Bieksa got a standing O while Kes gets a booed out of the arena every time he is in Van. I attend most games and the crowd was excellent tonight. The team played well but it was an extremely safe game that lacked emotion. Kessler is the biggest douche in the League

Markstrom's going to be good, maybe not Vezina contender like Lindquist, Rinne or Price, but very good. Once he gets enough starts, his glove hand will get better, plus another off-season with which to train and improve his skills. Time to move Miller at the deadline for cap space along Vrbata and Hamhuis and we'll be laughing

Minus the crazy eyes, but yeah, there's lots of similarities. They are both big guys who skate well with good hands, but hockey sense might not be there. I think that Virtanen might have more hits already in his career than Kassian ever did though.
