He's an adult too. One that makes 8x more a year than the rest of us who represented his country on a world stage and massively under performed. He's not being bullied, he's being scrutinized.

They have introduced 6 rookies into the lineup this year. They just don't suck as much as some franchises to completely bottom out, even with rookies in the lineup.

Really guys? I really thought Marner was a plug for the first two periods of that game, three bad giveaways, one for a Finnish goal. Where had that skill level been all tourney? If he hadn't had 2 in the 3rd, he'd be just as disaapointing as JV at this point. That double penelty was a backbreaker though

Funny how all the talk is about the forwards on the team. Canada hasn't produced a true starter from their WJC team since Carey Price/Steve Mason almost ten years ago. Want a team to go somewhere? Keep them some goaltending. Hell their tenders made me feel as comfortable as Roberto Luongo playing in Boston or Chicago during the playoffs. From what I saw the Canadians were undisciplined and lacked leadership, but even the 06/07 Canucks who couldn't score more than 2 goals a game made the playoffs on the back of quality tending.

Marner and kapanen have had a mediocre tourney. Nylander got KTFO, pretty bright!
