Don't you have a city to burn down? Oh and it's called rebuilding. Not perpetual limbo like the Canucks. Oh and at least we don't have Virtanen.
- domi_legend

Making the playoffs and contending for 6 straight years is actually called "success". I know you haven't experienced this as a leafs fan, so I understand your confusion.

TSN put out a top five list of the biggest POSs in the league. Marchand was number 5. Burrows was 1B but they said they had to give it to Kesler.

Biggest dirtbag in the league. He has stiff company but he can hang that on his mantle right next to the picture of Schneiders wife.

I know I am on the side of the high draft pick but I just couldn't come around to cheering for Kesler

I just rid this blog of the other leafs fan, maybe you might want to volunteer to to smarten up on your own...or I can help out in that department if you like.

How much did the Nucks pay a washed up Sundin?
- Arctic_AARDVARK

Were not paying a 4-5 defenseman 7 mil for the next 6 years. Thoughts?

No.. it's really not. I can't think of any situation in life where people destroy their city in the name of success.

Don't even try arguing with these guys. They think they can trade Chris Tanev for Seth Jones

Pretty good considering...

Leafs fans are riding high because our future is bright and the Leafs are achieving expectations for this season.. the Nucks on the other hand, well, their window closed 2 years ago and still they don't seem to have noticed...

- Arctic_AARDVARK

Our window closed 4 years ago and most here did notice. If 4th last in the league is your expectations then good on you I guess...Leafs prospects finally look decent I will give you that but after what could be considered a 40 year rebuild one would think after all the changes this past season you would be out of the bottom 10...that would be realistic expectations....one would think. But hey if you like where you are at good for ya.

Kapanen was never supposed to be anything special.

You're obviously jealous that we have Nylander because he's going to be a great player.

Marner played well. Idk what tourney you were watching.

- Arctic_AARDVARK

Kapanen, Nylander, Marner, are the leafs building a hockey team or a boy band?

When was the last time the laffs made it to a game 7 in the STF? Give the people of Toronto a chance, they just haven't experienced it before.

I watched the same one as you, before today Marner was a huge disappointment and you know it.

They never will experience it. 4 gruelling rounds are benign to them. Was easier in a 6 team league with little to no competition and 2 rounds.

The truth is that Toronto need 1 more top to pick and they'll be ready for the next phase. So this year is all about adapting to the new system. If they let Nylander play they would be in a better spot.. and if Reimer wasn't so fragile.. that's moot point I know all teams deal with injuries.

Tossing beer cans is one thing.. looting jewelry stores and burning cop cars is another.

Nylander got KTFO in the WJC, really think he's ready for the show?

Are you picturing Nylander without a shirt on with wind blowing thru his hair? Where's this boy band analogy come from?

He got blindsided... he's handled himself against men in the AHL and the SHL just fine. So yeah, he's ready.

Hot garbage > Virtanen.

I'm talking about both hockey and IQ.

- domi_legend

Mackenzie Blackwood

.753 save percentage for the tournament

That also classifies as hot garbage.
