Well harrington is somewhat of an idiot. But to answer your question IMO i think people just were so blown away by the activity in the offseason/kane trade and they expected this team to be in the playoffs this year for some reason.

I never expected that, and i see tons of improvement from this team. And i agree with bylsma when he says alot of the times they are right there and just need to learn to close it and get over the hump.

Kane's a chucker. He's got to learn to play with his teammates. That said, once he's surrounded with better players I think he'll do really well. Speed to burn, effort, toughness and a hell of a shot.

Drouin? Remember the Alam* err Hodgson, kept whining all the way from Vanc to Buff to Smashville.

Of course Yzerman goofed 2013 draft selecting Drouin when Seth Jones was available, then 2015 trade deadline he trades Gudas, 1st and 3rd 2015 for Coburn.

I also think people like harrington who just write things to stir it up are ridiculous. As you stated the price of business now, if there is even business to be had, suggests that he doesnt even understand why, if it was needed right at this point in time, change might not even be a realistic opportunity.
