This is a very realistic trade scenario, as CBJ would look for defense.
I'd offer hagg and a 4th - Just5
I'd try L. Schenn and see what else they want it might end up washing out the JVR trade |

I'm not impressed with him. No idea why, I just don't like him. Not shiny enough, I guess. - jmatchett383
Definitely not the same kind of prospect as Drouin. But fills an organizational need and will be significantly cheaper to acquire. |

both schenn's, a 2nd, and Hagg.
Doubt that does it though. Plus salary cap restraints on Tampa's end. |

For sure. My brain knows that, but for some reason, I just don't like him. |

I would do Hagg for Rychel straight up.
I fell like the Flyers could be in position to get a good prospect in the right deal. Right now I believe there isn't a pressure to be a cup contender this year. The future is the plan and everyone is good with that. Hextall's plan has been laid out.
Of course they have to be the right deals but I feel like they could make a solid deal, just an example Hagg + Cousins for Rychel. I am ok trying to bring in potential type players since the team might be a couple years away. |

If (IF) Tampa dealt him to the Flyers, there's a bad contract coming back. |

I'd welcome a deal with Tampa sending Boyle to us for cap. Boyle is one guy I wish the Flyers signed when Tampa did. Big body and good Pker. Even though he isn't a contract Tampa has to worry about |

Plus, he'll pick a fight with a guy half his size when his team is losing and will turtle if a legit tough guy wants to fight him. |

He'll fight the dangerous, ferocious Adam Hall's of the world. But heaven forbid a guy like Matt Carkner wants to to answer for trying to injure Ottawa's best player.
No thanks. |

Yeah, and his ability to be really tough when players are half his size. It's not about fighting, it's about him picking his spots.
Sorry, want nothing to do with his yellow self. |

I'd take him any day over White, Vandevelde, or Umberger. |

One thing I was thinking about watching the west coast games was just the flyers lack of size. Even Simmonds while tall, isn't big. Now this is totally different then Drouin because he isn't big but the Flyers need more size and skill. Drouin would help in the skill side. But they need some size in that lineup |

Size is fine. There are other 4th liners with size that aren't the cowardly Brian Boyle. |
