I don't know what it is, I loved everything he did up to Kill Bill 1, but starting with the second Kill Bill, something changed. There's portions I like from all of them, like the opening scene to Inglorious Bastards, but overall I'm just not engaged.

I think Valk wore a helmet that was too tight thru his development years as a child. Man, he's got a weird shaped head. It's almost muppet like
