First of all, he's not six inches tall Mr. smart-guy, he's listed as 5'10" tall, which means he's probably five nine and a half. Secondly, oh wise one, his defensive awareness or 200 foot game is, let's say, a work in progress.

There's a reason he plays on the wing under Tippett, and he'll probably spend his whole career there. I don't know why I'm humouring you with a response but you're lack of intelligence is shining thru!

That's not to say he's not a fantastic young player, because he is, he's ultra-skilled. That said, the Canucks needed a good young center when they picked Horvat, they got one. There's a reason he made the NHL at 19 years of age playing one of the hardest positions to play.

Like I said....makes me sick. The guys a mediocre goaltender at best and he was treated like he was the second coming of Patrick Roy. Even the veterans asked Benning to go out and get a veteran goaltender because they didn't believe in him, but a lot of idiot fans and bloggers sure did.

He's a likeable guy, I guess, but good riddance.

One player isn't gonna help this mess, they need a lot of depth in a variety of positions. Time to take a step back and build from within imo.
