I thought Beatle Johns comment on Drouin was the best. It is probably nowhere close to the truth but it was funny - VANTEL
Why no one else is saying it is beyond me. The NHL has a cocaine problem. We know this. They have admitted this. So --- was the problem ONLY in a truck in an early morning in Montreal?

What animal should the province incorporate when they take a shot at Boeser... keep in mind goat has been used already - Mungo
We need Botch on these forums. He is right up there with Tanner. |

I think the problem was the magic luggie from the grassy knoll |

I think a ton of blame has to fall on the coach. I think when you have a team with tremendous individual talent, a dump-and-chase on Euro ice is a horrible idea. - Codes1087
I don't buy that they were a team with tremendous individual talent. The Finns and Swedes sure had more.
I also find it weird to think that Virtanen's stock would fall because of that tournament. Management obviously has a pretty good sense of who he is and what assets he brings. Besides he's already drafted and the notion that he would be traded right now is absurd. |

Lets cue the "Brock Boeser's stock is at an all time low because of his lack of production". #Bust... - Codes1087
Boeser was good in the tournament.
But Ron Wilson is such a terrible coach it's funny.
Zach Werenski was over 30 minutes of ice time according to TSN
He double shifted his top line so damn much that the second goal they couldn't defend after having already been on the ice for over a 2 minutes.

Apparently Kerby Rychel is looking to get traded as well. |

-- Rychel is an interesting case. You remember the dust-up at development camp, when Rychel's camp -- agent, father, possibly others -- met with Blue Jackets' officials and demanded an explanation as to why Rychel seems parked so deep on the depth chart? The Dispatch has been told repeatedly that Rychel asked for a trade before the season started, but the Blue Jackets have shown no interest in trading him. The New York Rangers, Calgary, Toronto, Montreal, Anaheim, Boston and Detroit have all reportedly shown interest, and why not? Rychel is a point-a-game player in the AHL and has plenty of sand paper.

Way down there. crtl+f and type in rychel to find it. |

Would be a lateral move to go after him. I don't see enough upside on Rychel l to give up on a guy like Gaunce or Shink - VANTEL
What if we created a package deal to get rychel and johansen? |

Tanev + Gaunces + Jensen(torts loved jensen) for RJ and RK
Then we create a deal to get Bowey from Washington. |

I don't see the point of Rychel. His numbers are no better than Vey ( who is playing wing tonight ) or Baertschi. Shink has better AHL numbers. Are we trading Jensen and Archibald for him?
I am not as high on Johansen as Lefty is, nor am I against him . I think right now stay on course for Mathews. Maybe in the Summer revisit Johansen |

Thats where Im at myself. Although watching hockey central at noon today they were all saying management wants to do that too but ownership wont let it happen and wants to push for the playoffs..

The ducks, flames and oilers will all finish ahead of us, maybe even the coyotes once they get their goalie back. |

we might end up getting healthy too...
are we a better team with Sutter, Sbisa and Hamhuis in the lineup?
I wonder if there is any chance they move McCann to wing and leave Cracknell as 4th line centre? |

I know that and that was my point. Im hoping he doesnt prevent JB from moving guys at the deadline on expiring contracts but it kinda sounds like that could happen. |
