Rey has to be A Kenobi

She's crazy good at Jedi mind tricks
The light saber that she touched Kenobi was the one speaking to her
The light saber that she had was not Luke Skywalker's or Aniken Skywalker it was Obi-Wan Kenobi's light saber
And why did they make her use her British accent in the movie

True. What I'm saying is it's still an improvement. The second part is like you said, we've added so many guys. And a coach. We've all said multiple times it takes time to buy into the system and be able to run it effectively. Injuries and player regressing also hasn't helped.

Each player that you mentioned has helped this team be better than last year other than maybe Kane. The ones that are holding the team back are the ones that were here last year. Moulson, Ennis, Johnson to some degree, Bogo to a point. Guys who were supposed to flourish with the new talent around them and just haven't.

So yeah, it's a new team but a lot of the old pieces are still there and aren't helping like we need them too.

I hope the finns didnt blow their load in the second. An early one in the third would set the building on fire and make for an awesome finish for gold.

You realize 50% of the players here are in their first season. Hell even the other 50% are in their first year with the Sabres.

I mean, I'm not going to say the theory is wrong but that IS Anakin's lightsaber. It was his in episode 3. Obi-Wan's was thinner in the middle and larger on top. Like this.

Anakin's in the 3rd movie was this



Which we see in TFA. In fact, the opening scene was originally going to be the lightsaber falling from bespin. Abrams decided not to include it.

I understand the rookie part, however they have been the best players.

Don't get me wrong, I like him and I think he's a good player. But to this point I won't say he's helped the team. He's been okay, he's gotten some goals, but to help the team in the spot he's in he needs to score. Hopefully he will, but I expect him to be close to the lead in goals next year and to do that he'll need to step it up.

If it was the same team and they were with the same coach I'd say Moulson and Ennis have no excuse. If they're just really not compatible with this coach's system then maybe that's the problem. Square peg, round hole sort of thing.

He has in reference to shots/possession. But I agree he was brought here to finish.

I like his game, but I'm hoping he doesn't get 20+ minutes of ice time for much longer. He needs to play a secondary role

Anakin made the lightsaber himself, like all jedi do. Hence why Anakin said to Luke in ROTJ "I see you have constructed a new lightsaber. Your training is now complete". And go watch episode 3, they are using the same one. Anakin's was destroyed in episode 2 by Dooku and made a new one. Anakin and Obi-Wan fought on Mustafar and after he won the battle took the lightsaber. That lightsaber was then handed to Luke who lost it in Empire. It then wound up with Maz and then Rey.
