If we're not making the playoffs or just missing them which I'd take over this right now. Then I'd rather come in 2-5th. Coming dead last only to the first team in the new draft structure to end up drafting fourth would be far, far too painful to deal with....

My guess is they know Lehner will be back soon and wanted to give Ullmark one more chance at proving he should stay here over Johnson. Early in the season Ullmark was looking really good but just like the team he's been ice cold lately. Johnson hasn't been spectacular either. I blame him for a large part of the loss against Detroit. That second goal given up was pathetic.

I wish Irbe wouldn't have left. i think he could have worked wonders with Linus as he's still young and can learn from mistakes, but Irbe seemed to get the best out of whoever he had last year.
