I haven't looked it up, yup too lazy..
But how many times was a 21st over all or later was traded for a starting Goalie.
I'd be shocked if it happened more than once or twice...rarely in other words. A starting g Goalie is more valuable than a mid or late 1st rounder. - IonSabres
Not necessarily.
Considering starting goalies are found every which way possible, and outside of the top 5, good ones are interchangeable from year to year, I'd say it's just bad asset management if Lehner doesn't become a top 5-10 goalie.
We aren't talking playoffs included but as I have stated prior, y'all can twist anything the way you wish to help your cause.
It really is okay with me. - Pluviophile
I don't remember that constraint. My apologies sir. Although you've been wrong once in this thread already...

Why don't you just post under your real handle? Why the need for an alt? I know one of the refs said yesterday that this was an alt, but didn't say whose. I mean, I know it's the internet and everything, but why the extra layer of anonymity?
And the guy posting under an alternate handle is ripping Murray for a perceived lack of honor. That is rich. - Wetbandit1
I get that you can't, I'm saying I wish you could. It's my same argument that I have for juniors. - Zschalberg
Not quite the same. In the CHL they're not allowed to leave until they turn 20. In college they can leave whenever they want and go to the AHL, or the NHL. Eichel is a prime example. Girgensons too, he played in the USHL and committed to Vermont, but was good enough to play in the AHL, so he was afforded that opportunity. And Reinhart last year, wasn't good enough to be on the NHL roster so he had to go back to the WHL until his season was over and he fulfilled his obligation to the CHL. That dumbass NHL/CHL transfer agreement is, well, dumb. The CHL doesn't want all it's good players to go pro, so they keep them and a lot of times they get bored and basically lose a year of development. And some times get such a big head because they're wrecking the league that they get too big for their britches i.e. Grigorenko, Radulov.
