Edit: Murray made an effort to surround Eichel with talent, Signed ROR to take the pressure off of Reinhart/Eichel, Traded assets to aquire a "#1" goalie

Id say they made a clear effort to improve. Obviously there will be growing pains but you can say the were trying to tank this year
