I am wobbling about welcoming all ...

and 2 are defense which is probably our biggest need. the fact that guhle (lhd) and borgen (rhd) have impressed makes grabbing a forward/winger much easier regardless of where we end up drafting. which is cool because the mocks that are out there are pretty forward heavy for the first 6-7 picks.

For sure, We all envy the wings because when the depth in mid level prospects is there you dont have to rush anyone and know what you have in each player

Here is one that no one has said what the problem is. Tyler Ennis long upper body injury,was not from hockey. He hit his head at home And had a bad concussion. You won't believe me how he did it. Believe me,that is the truth.
Tim murray should have this team in a better situation and quite honestly ,he doesn't. Take away reinhart and Eichel from the tank and Oreilly from one trade and what do we have?
Kane and bogosian injury prone and never really have done anything. We gave up a boatload. Let's stop being buffalo homer fans. I laugh at all the people who say doug whaley is a great gm. Look at the drafts and all these players we have everyone says. The bills suck. We over value our talent in buffalo. Our defensive talent for the bills is overrated,we beat up on bad quarterbacks over the years.
On the current sabres roster, who has huge upsides besides eichel,reinhart,ristolainenen. Oreilly is and excellent player,but I don't see him playing much better then he is now,which isn't a knock,but you are getting close to his topline kane will never be a 40 goal scorer. He will be and injury prone 20 something goal scorer. Regardless of what you all day about baptiste,bailey and fasching, we gave up a lot of potentially younger good players in Lemieux,armia,zadorov,grigorenko,myers,compfer,first round draft picks for Oreilly,lehner,kane ,McGinn and Bogosian. The only two players I want is Oreilly and McGinn as a 3rd or 4th liner.
Murray gave up neuvrith,halak,enroth and lindmark.we have johnson who is not nd NHL goalie. Lehner had a bad concussion and showed up to camp 40 pounds overweight. I think he will be a big bust,Mark this down. Then where are we in goal?
We hamds bad deals by signing moulson and then multiplied by having eichel live with him. His butt she be traded. Gionta should never been named captain or signed. You have leggwand,colaiacovo,weber who shouldn't be in then NHL. We are far away then people think. We very well might finish last and with all the draft picks,being able to draft eichel and reinhart,this shouldn't be acceptable

Impressing as an 18 year old is great. Penciling them into an NHL roster already is another thing. I would still look to get another top 4 defense

Now his salary on the 4th line doesn't make much sense but his leadership carries a lot of value...
