I thought the exact same thing, at least with Umberger. Dude was skating hard and was really working the boards last night. I'm sure that Weal will bump someone at some point. - jmatchett383
Yea that whole line really looked good. In all seriousness (overtime aside) I thought the top line was our weakest line. The Rafl-Couts-Schenn line was damn near dominant at times, and the Umberger line looked great. Lots of possession and great board play. |

I thought (aside from the Mason blunder) Schultz had a pretty decent game. He seemed to have a ton of energy and I noticed him being much more active. Looked sorta like last year. - jak521
Yeah, just like last year: above being completely awful. Sadly, unlike last year, our defense is only a mild tire fire, not a complete one, so he's not "the least awful" of them. He seems like a good guy, but I'm sorry, he has zero puck skills. |

The 2nd line was cycling like bosses. I really like the look of it. Coots has made great strides in using his body to shield defenders. Looks like Zeus gave him some lessons over the summer or something.
Read and raffl had good games - Just5
Psshh... Couts doesnt use his body at all. He dont know how to be phystical. |

I'm still not sure why he's found his way on it. Especially when Schultz dresses every night. - Jsaquella
Well luke is gone now and there is no question who the starting 6 should be. A ghost injury was guaranteed after the luke trade |

Him and Schenn are both undersized and quite frankly I rather have Rinaldo and Marchand |

I really didnt think he played bad at all last night. He definitely is not the guy I want carrying the puck, shooting the puck, make break out passes with the puck, stealing stanley cup final pucks, playing Puck from a Midsummer Night's Dream, interviewing Puck from The Real World, or literally having anything to do with any other derivative of the word puck. Unless it involves letting a puck hit him. Ill allow that. |

He's like a less physical version of last year's Grossmann. He's slow, doesn't turn well, blocks a lot of shots, but is like a deer in headlights once he gets possession. |

Dear God. Just looked back at yesterdays blog...
Did he really not pick up on the fact that I was being sarcastic when I said that Schenn and Rinaldo were literally the same player?

Love the fact that Couturier and B Schenn are producing.
The fact the Flyers are generating offense when their 3 best players, Giroux-Voracek-Simmonds, are not is exciting.
Dreading any possible update on Ghost though. |

The pass on the Zucker goal just cant happen. He has been in a serious funk.
I cant believe I am saying this, but I dont like having G and Jake together right now. Neither think me first ever... and that results in way too many passed up opportunities |

I have watched the clip about 5 times today.. I just dont see any mechanism that would cause a serious injury. If anything I think he might have tweaked his groin. |

Huh. Numbers saying that? Eye test, I thought I saw a lot of good things, including that simply dominant shift in the first |
