RE: Kaleta - Sabres have 46/47 roster players (I've seen both numbers from different sites), so there's space for him to sign. Just thought it would be helpful to see the number of contracted players as well.

Neither philosophy is wrong. I can see it from both sides. I guess I'm just looking at it from the standpoint that in the long run, I don't want Risto with Gorges.

Hard to believe Paul is 77 now.

Oh I agree with that! Next preseason if we havent made a trade for a dman I would like to roll with Risto and Pysyk. But I respect the year that Risto is putting together, and I wouldn't want to mess with that.

When is the MSG contract up? Is Pegula still building up his own sports network that the games would be on? That way all cable/dish providers would be able to see that games.

I agree with most of this. And I never said he was the problem. But the team has lost its last 5. Time to make some changes. Did you ever stop to think that maybe the coach isn't liking how Gorges has played recently? That maybe he's holding Risto back in some way?
