I doubt that, if you have a GM that interferes regularly in lineup/deployment decisions, no HC is going to take it for long and eventually resign. If the GM wants to play being coach then you have a huge problem. I don't see JB as that hands-on.

I think definitely buy out Higgins in the Summer. Burrows actual salary is 3 mil next year. His cap hit is 4.5


History shows if we can't trade him he will be used as a utility guy next year. I honestly wished he would go back to 4 th line and be instigating and a protector . He's not a great fighter but he will fight.that is where he would be most useful. Ride out his contract
