Yes I know but if the GM has favorites and wants their TOI maintained he can make it happen. I understand that WD makes some gaffes but I believe it isn't all him. - LordHumungous

It's not all Willie...Benning has influence on who plays I'm willing to bet. I'm ok giving WD a real shot with a proper club after this summer. We are heading in the right direction. - LordHumungous
Playing Sedins in overtime with Edler does not work, everyone sees that but him.
Playing Higgins leads to losses.
Playing Weber leads to losses.
Sitting McCann for Vey or Cracknell or whomever makes no sense.
The coach is clueless. Power play hasn't scored in a month, it's a joke. |

Higgins yes gone , I don't see any takers for burrows. It is hard to sell a guy that has 5 goals and another year of 4.5 remaining - VANTEL
Prongers contract is still out there...he's been retired and working for the league for a few years now...nothing is immovable. |

Kindl clears waivers.
Teams in the playoff race are tough for cap space . This is why I see moving players will be hard |

I have to wonder what the consensus around here would be if Stamkos was pursued by Benning? Is it viable at this time to take on another Albatross contract (Lou) or just move forward with cap managementand drafting/developing? I understand the impact a Stamkos brings but...
Would be an interesting conversation to say the least.
I know Stamkos wouldn't happen here just curious... - LordHumungous
Not what this team needs right now. They need to hand the keys to the kids, let em cut their teeth until the Sedins move off. Assess what we have at that point then perhaps some top end ufas. Keep our cap space and be ready to pounce on another teams problems. |

As I posted on the last page, Dorsett continues to eat the third most total ice-time minutes under WD, obviously a huge issue. |

First in 9 or 10 games. It was on a rush too. They can't set it up and when they do its way too predictable. |

I really like the Bo and Sven chemistry, glad they got more PP time than the Sedins taking up 90% of it. |

Bo scored on the PP against Carolina on Wednesday but yes it's been brutal lately. |

Dorsett is averaging 12:52 TOI this season. There are 9 forward who are averaging more, though one of those is Vey who has only played 8 games. You're buying in to those ass-hat advanced stat guys schtick too much.
EDIT - there is actually only one guy (forward) on the team who is averaging less then Dorsett who I'd like to see more of, which is Baertschi |

I can't say for sure because he's being so subtle, but I'm starting to get the impression that he's not the biggest fan of WD. |

For the past 40 years we've been complaining that the team never had enough depth at forward to be able to ice 4 lines, to balance out the ice time, and too much pressure was being put on the first line. Now the 4th line is averaging about 12 minutes per night and we're female doging that the ice time is being spread out too much and we should be riding the top players more, even though they are almost 100 years old. |
