At this point I'd trade Perron for a medium sized plank of wood Crosby can use to bank shots in off of. How many chances does this guy need?

Yet so many on here are advocating re-signing him . . .

I might give him 2 or so on a prove it deal. Anything more and someone else can overpay for him.

PH just showing Kessel how to score on the PP. Kessel has had a terrible game. The HNIC announcers call him out every shift.

Yeah he really has, but I felt like being a Richard to relieve stress, so...

It's only because of how unfit he is!

We have the uncanny ability to keep other teams in games that they shouldn't be in. That power play was a quintessential example of it.

Next year will be his 10th in the league, not quite sure what he is going to "prove" at this point. Ray Searage hasnt been cloned on the Pens staff as of yet.

Sharks put up a touchdown before anybody in the Steelers/Bengals game likely will.

He blocked a shot that hit him square in the hand. Every time the camera panned to the bench he was wincing and yelping and rubbing his hand like it was hurt. If I were a betting man, which I am, I'd put money on a break.

That's three on the season. He's been quite 5 on 5 recently but he's definitely been a solid penalty killer. Maybe when we get healthy we can reunite Plotnikov-Cullen-Fehr and get all of those guys going again. That line should have never been broken up.

He could have had near 10 short handed goals this year... he had near 2 dozen chances.

I still dream of a Fehr-Malkin PK unit. Remember Malkin and Porter in the beginning of the season? Now imagine if Porter was Fehr.

Malkin and Crosby don't seem to be getting PK time anymore, unless its 20 seconds or less on a faceoff.

He is without question this team's MVP this year. Its a shame he won't get any Vezina buzz.

Well pretty good win against the early season form team!

Great start just not converting, but still getting the opportunities to which cannot be denied. Got the first goal which I think was big for this game & hit back after 1-1 - no complaints from me there!

Good win Pens, chin up & lets get some momentum & start carving up the turkey!!

If he can stay healthy & consistent, I don't see why he won't. Who is the standout goalie to date? Price - no, Lundqvist - no, Rask - no, Holtby - ?? & ???

It'll be Holtby. Price will be in the convo despite missing a ton of the season, edging MAF out.

If they make the playoffs, he should be in consideration. He won't win, but is would be the only reason the Pens make the cut. Announcers said this is his 12th season already! Best season yet!

I've never seen a team deserve to lose a game more than the Bengals tonight.
