That's the thing with the internet and anonymity, we can say and be whatever we want.

NHL players are still regular people who partake in similar things that non athletes do ...I don't think it's a bad thing if a a guy like him likes the occasional puff ...he was still a very serviceable player for a while ...he's just not getting any younger and is not that good anymore.

Much like KB he will be addition by subtraction

I know, I have a lot of friends who used to play. Higgins was hampered by his foot injury in training camp and was always behind the eight ball with his conditioning, which piled onto the fact that his skills are declining.

Hopefully someone takes a chance on him and can use him properly in a bottom six role.

My buddy who went to school in van had a classmate who sold the stuff and was over there when Higgins a buddy stopped by bought some and smoked one with them ...my friend didn't realize who it was until after Higgins left and was told who it was and that he stopped by often ...might not be proof enough for you but I believe him

I always thought Higgins was good for the Canucks as a utility PK type guy ...when locked in a top 6 role I don't think was a good fit for him
