1 goal in 11 games win Winnipeg. 8 points in 18 with Manitoba. As a 3rd year player in the AHL I gotta think he's a disappointment in the Peg. I know he was to me. Had high hopes for him.

Yeah - pulling regular 4th line minutes for WPG and only generated 5 SOG in 11 games.

He was drafted in 2011 I believe. That's nearly 5 years of development. Would have hoped to see more by now. Wonder if he'll ever put it all together. - Zschalberg
Pysyk was drafted in 2010 and this is his first year as an NHL regular.

Apparently he played yesterday? Saw him once when he was going to the bench. Some are still upset we traded him. - Zschalberg
I still don't get why people are so upset by that trade.
We traded a washed out Stafford who has good years left but won't be there when WPG finally gets competitive with their kids. Lemieux could be a 3rd liner at best. Armia seems to be a bust. A 1st rounder which was house money from STL that they used to take Jake Roslovic who HF rates as a 7.0 grade and a C for making it. Same exact levels as Armia and Lemiux.
Myers hurts because he was a quality player but just that monster contract and struggling years had fallen out of favor. He handcuffed our paychecks we could give to more contributing guys like ROR.
We got a servicable guy like Bogo who is ultimately a top end 2nd line pairing guy and the best player in the swap being Evander Kane who can pot 30 goals.
And we got goalie prospect Kasdorf who is rated as a 7.0 in talent and D for success. The guy has a 2.18 GAA and .931 S% at RPI as a 23 year old senior. Nice prospect.
How did it go wrong??? I LOVED the trade. We got the best player in the deal and got rid of the worst contract too. Gave up 2 prospects who fell out of favor with the team.
The biggest drop was probably not getting the 1st rounder which was 25th any way.

We actually found someone that Moulson is more valuable then is all I am hearing?
And Pysyk was still a promising prospect at 22 years old when he was in Rochester last year.
Armia could definitely be a bust, but he hasn't actually got a real shot. Maybe an injury gives him one down the road - sbroads24
Im not ready to call Armia a bust. This is his first real taste of the NHL. Injuries have slowed his arrival to the NHL. His best shot was this season if he had still been in the sabres system. We prob could have used him this season at RW and if he spent time playing with Jack or Oreilly who knows..

Reinharts skill set definitely fits better as a center, but i dont see any negatives if he continues to learn, adjust and progress on the wing. It surely opens up options down the road. However,
Eichel is learning C at the NHL level on the fly and there is no question about his position moving forward. Maybe not even next year, but by year 3 for eichel i still expect oreilly to be riding shotgun with him on the top line. This slots reinhart in at the second C position. Would also be the type of second C who could be perfect for kane if he is still in the future plans at that time.
This is also dependent on the draft this year. Perhaps we trade down but there is absolutely no way matthews is passed over if we win the lottery. Lots of NHL centers means one would surely be traded. It wont be eichel, and i doubt it would be oreilly.

I firmly believe that Lemieux will be the true teller in this trade. He is not a C prospect. He could be a bust in the NHL but he is currently on fire in the Juniors.

Lemieux will be 20 years old in less than two months. He's playing in a league that has players as young as 15, and his primary reputation is that of a bully. I don't think it matters that he's tearing up the CHL right now, he should be at that age. I can't wait until he gets to the NHL and someone punches him through the boards. His new found CHL goal scoring abilities aren't going to transfer into the NHL for chit!

15 year olds? The majority of them are 17-19. Then only 15 year olds are the ones granted exceptional status to be drafted at 15.
Lemuiex also has been scoring ever since he started in juniors

By the way. Why has he only played 22 games . Is he hurt?
Got it
One of the Winnipeg Jets' most notable prospects might be riding the pine for a long time in junior hockey after making one of the more egregious hits to the head you'll ever see on Thursday.
Brendan Lemieux, a forward for the Barrie Colts of the Ontario Hockey League, has been suspended indefinitely by the OHL after landing a hit to the head of Owen Sound Attack forward Keenan Reynolds that knocked the latter out of the game.
You can see the play unfold in the video below, as Reynolds kept his head down and Lemieux telegraphed his hit from more than a few strides away.
