15 year olds? The majority of them are 17-19. Then only 15 year olds are the ones granted exceptional status to be drafted at 15.
Lemuiex also has been scoring ever since he started in juniors - sbroads24
Yeah, so, 15 year olds have exceptional status, that's why I said as young as 15.

By the way. Why has he only played 22 games . Is he hurt?
Got it
One of the Winnipeg Jets' most notable prospects might be riding the pine for a long time in junior hockey after making one of the more egregious hits to the head you'll ever see on Thursday.
Brendan Lemieux, a forward for the Barrie Colts of the Ontario Hockey League, has been suspended indefinitely by the OHL after landing a hit to the head of Owen Sound Attack forward Keenan Reynolds that knocked the latter out of the game.
You can see the play unfold in the video below, as Reynolds kept his head down and Lemieux telegraphed his hit from more than a few strides away. - Maximum Signal
2nd Suspension since October... Also a head shot.

I still don't get why people are so upset by that trade.
We traded a washed out Stafford who has good years left but won't be there when WPG finally gets competitive with their kids. Lemieux could be a 3rd liner at best. Armia seems to be a bust. A 1st rounder which was house money from STL that they used to take Jake Roslovic who HF rates as a 7.0 grade and a C for making it. Same exact levels as Armia and Lemiux.
Myers hurts because he was a quality player but just that monster contract and struggling years had fallen out of favor. He handcuffed our paychecks we could give to more contributing guys like ROR.
We got a servicable guy like Bogo who is ultimately a top end 2nd line pairing guy and the best player in the swap being Evander Kane who can pot 30 goals.
And we got goalie prospect Kasdorf who is rated as a 7.0 in talent and D for success. The guy has a 2.18 GAA and .931 S% at RPI as a 23 year old senior. Nice prospect.
How did it go wrong??? I LOVED the trade. We got the best player in the deal and got rid of the worst contract too. Gave up 2 prospects who fell out of favor with the team.
The biggest drop was probably not getting the 1st rounder which was 25th any way. - JVince11
That makes too much sense. You'll never go anywhere here.

Folks, this is to everyone - keep your personal BS you may have with other posters off the board. We're both (nfph and I) sick of it all and the leniency is waning.
If you feel the need to talk about other posters, PM them or each other. The childish school antics should have ended a LONG time ago for the vast majority of us here |

Drouin will not be a bust at best he could be Ennis 2.0
one reason why Tampa Bay traded Martin st. Louis so easily because of Drouin.
I would take a chance we could hit gold |

So what do you want to trade for a mirror of someone already on the roster? |

oh my
nothing like getting a dig on a kid less then 24 hours after a hatty
skunk got a hatty in his 51st game in the nhl
is that the quickest for a sabre drafted to get a hatty in the blue and gold? - homiedclown
I would bet Perrault, or Mogilny did it faster. I know Perrault scored the first hat trick in Sabres history.

last time I checked the Sabres were still at the bottom of the nhl in points. I'd agree though, the fans played far too much into his return and Buffalo used that to win the game. |

I'm not really sure it does make sense.
Bogosian has the worst contract of any of the players involved and we took that on. Also it's pretty convenient calling Kane a 30 goal scorer and Bogosian a "high end" 2nd pairing D man when neither have been that player in a few years. That's like me saying we gave up a 45 point defenseman and a 30 goal scorer in Stafford. |

Man, I can handle 3 emoticons, but 4? That's some serious dedication - sbroads24
just laughing hard because that same debate will start about the Winnipeg trade . It was almost a year ago at this point . What is done is done good or bad . We are stuck with it.

It is what it is. I'm a little bitter about how this rebuild is going.
I spent a lot of my time watching guys like Compher, Armia, Grigo, Zadorov, the 15' draft class thinking about who could fall to 21.
I wanted to see what Myers could do with a better team around him, or if Mezaros truly made him expendable
All of that was traded for what? One really good player in O'Reilly and a couple of guys that an underachieving franchise couldn't handle anymore?
We traded Myers and Stafford for a bizarre version of Myers and Stafford, but threw in a few prospects and a 1st for good luck.
It's amazing to me to be honest |

The trade could be the subject of a Ph. D dissertation. I swear in the year since the trade there has been close to 7500 posts debating it.
And the conclusion of the dissertation would be "We won't know whether the trade was One-sides for one party for several years."
And if that's true can either GM who made the deal really be faulted? |

Battery acid is "a little bitter."
Your views on the rebuild are a whole order of magnitude beyond.

While I agree with sbroads on a lot of things and enjoy his posts, while I detest his biggest critic, I hope this is in no way a dig at him (and I don't think he would think that).
I think that the trade will not take seven years to evaluate. I think that it is already decided. EVEN.
No team is better than the other because of that trade. |

It's not a dig at broads. He writes about the trade a lot, but sondonorhers, both here and in the real press.
I did think it's funny Broads described himself as "a little bitter" that's like when I tell my wife I'm a little drunk.

I'll get over it when we are good and playing meaningful games.
It just kind of sucks. I was all in on this rebuild and got really into watching some of the prospects play. And just like that......they are gone, and we still suck |
