Someone almost mentioned the Leafs and that's all it takes. He's just fighting the good fight.

It's one of the more active boards and quite frankly there's more Leafs talk in here than Mike's thread. It's all guitar, Star Wars, food and weather in there

Waking up to Leaf fans in the blog at 6.30 is like waking up with a case of the runs when you have a hanging hemmerhoids.
- VANTEL

They really are obsessed with the Canucks...I guess a 50 year rebuild will do that to people in TO...

I won't defend the Province but it was the title of the article that people were offended by.

I was referring to the idiots that stormed in here that day to laugh at our prospect while their prospect sat in a dark room with sunglasses on that has yet to score a NHL goal.

I haven't touched a Province newspaper in years

Star Wars was absolutely Horrible.. One of the most over hyped movies ever.

BTW - Its hard to place blame on Jagr last night for that Etem penalty. What is Gallant doing throwing out Jagr when Willie send out two kids in Etem and Vey. Can't fault Jagr on that one as that is all father time right there.

I was a fan of Etem's game last night. He specifically said that he needed to get to the net more, rather than being a perimeter player. The penalty that he drew in OT was an example of him doing exactly that. Hopefully he continues to play like that.

His give and go with Vey was perfect. He also threw in a few good hits as well. I imagine Willie will eventually move Etem or Shinkaruk to the RW and give the old Medicine Hat line a shot together. It only makes sense with all the success they had in Junior playing together (albeit at different times)

He was always noticeable for the wrong reasons, but he's actually looking dangerous at times. Making sweet passes, kid has some talent.

"Interesting scenario when the shoe is on the other foot for the team, media and fans in Vancouver," tweeted former player Patrick O'Sullivan, who just weeks ago went public with an ugly chirp directed at him by Vancouver's Alex Burrows.

I'm pretty sure we are supposed to be only discussing the Toronto Maple Leafs while our 'guests' are here.

Listening to bro jake this morning. They are going off the deep end. Said this is a playoff team and guaranteeing a first round win for Canucks. Wow ! I mean they have played better more inspired hockey, but come on they caught two tired teams on back to backs at the end of long road trips...let's put the mushrooms down and buckle back into the reality seat

Haha. Trying to sell his book again.
I have a feeling that the Sedins father didn't spank them.

Once Sutter, Hamhuis and Sbisa come back... Like injecting the lineup with 3 all stars at the trade deadline.

If Bo and Sven keep rolling, with the additions of a healthy Sutter and Sbisa, i like the odds.

With Virtanen and Etem along with the great play of Markstrom, we might be able to make a push while simultaneously selling off dispensable pieces such as Vrbata, Miller and perhaps even Hamhuis.

Best of both worlds, competitive sellers

My thoughts exactly. With all do respect to him and his past, he is just trying to stay relevant and promote his book. The Burrows/O'Sullivan incident is over, he needs to get over it.

O'Sullivan just released a book in October and is trying to keep his name in the news to promote it. His chirps lately have been smart business, IMO.
