I watched that movie in the theatre while on a first date. It was not a banner moment for me. There was not a second date. - CubanBuffet
That's funny right there. (frank) I hated dating. |

Same reason we'd want big buff, Lucic, Ladd, Stamkos etc. ...
We'll have money to burn, with the contacts in place, to sign a pair of high end players or one star player and one tier down impact player.
That being said, if we get the big Russian (Ty) as a RHD 6 or 7 on the depth chart, would you want to pick up Lucic and yandle to 5.5m x 7 or Stamkos to 10.5m x 7 or buff 7m x 5 Ladd 6m x 7
Personally, I'd do Lucic and yandle combo. If we don't resign Hamhuis, vrabata etc..., next year burr and Higgins will come off the payroll etc... we will have 15 million of cap space to play with. Entry level contacts for the next 3- 5 years are to fill those spots held by vets, the twins are off the payroll in 2 years, that's another 15 million to sign a great player.
When That second 15m comes of of thebooks it will be the time to add a superstar and possibly trade yandle and Lucic when and as needed to pay the kids who have earned a raise.
This would provide for competitiveness next year and for the following 4 years after which you would need to trade some players(asset management ).
Extend markstrom 3m x 3 or 3.5 x 4
Play some damn hockey! !!!!
I would be most afraid of big buff add I feel he will be big country reeves untradable in 2 years when you would want to cut bait. Yandle isn't the same type of player but paired with a safe player like Tanev he could put up some offense. Ty and Peden would provide size as the bottom pairing as soon as next year.
That's my thoughts.
Edler and vrabata traded for Hamonic.
All right, I'm ready for it. ....
Come at me Bru! !

My guess in 1 decent UFA signing (Lucic) and a trade for a Dman, where we take on salary. |

My wife had never seen top gun. Year and a half ago we have our son 2 months early. It was the only movie in the room they put us in. Anyways watched it during the 13 hr pre labor. That night we had him. With danger zone running through my wife's head. . Lol.
The next day she told told me that it was the most homo erotic movie ever.
Anyways, it's late so I'm out. - Pres.cup

We are a young team , so I wouldn't offer anyone over 25 more than 4 years. Earlier this year , I would have gone long term with a few players because I thought the team needed help, but it looks the young guys can handle the load.
I am pretty convinced to trust the upcoming forwards. I still think they need two more pieces.
Defence is where we should target starting 2017 draft. |

I think you're missing something - hes played 29 out of 36 games so clearly the injury is only a small portion of the problem |

Apparently his injury was one of which generally takes 6-7 months to fully heal from. Green said he should be at 100% or so after Christmas, which in actuality seems to be the case.
He is playing with some at times, pretty crappy line mates.
But ya, his progress is underwhelming, then again, look how Shink and Gaunce rebounded their second pro years. |

Off Topic post of the day. Making a Murderer was a VERY entertaining 10 part series. While it was directed in a very Biased way, it was still very good. I suggest watching an episode a night as they tend to be a little drawn out to start. |

As biased as the prosecution was, the movie was just as biased for the defense. I'm on 7 of 10. It's good but not as amazing as people are saying, imo. |

I just finished 6 of 10 making a murderer. Not sure the hype for this. Pretty sad what goes on south of the border. - Scooby_Doo
That docu-series was super addictive. I binge watched it in 2 days. The film makers do have a pretty biased opinion in presenting their view. There is still so pretty disturbing practices taking place in that story. |
