you are focusing way too much on scoring buddy

kessel can score like crazy.. i wouldnt call him a good hockey player

- Dozzer

im really not it was a point, kopitar and toews both make 10 mil and both kill penalties yet one seems to get more points and one id rather on my team.

im voicing my 2 cents of why id rather toews than kopitar, thats it that's all.

for what, 1 season?

how about the big picture

since 2010-2015 kopitar has 6 SHP

toews has 19 SHP

should we look deeper?

- Lucas.Neilson

Kopitar has played more shorthanded the past 4 years. Done.

10 mil

you better be top something to be making that. thats my point.

- Lucas.Neilson

Meh, these guys getting max contracts are getting back pay for all the money the club made whilst winning the Lord Stanley...and for the next 4 or 5 years.

Then they will suck for a couple years while they limp out the last few years of he contract.

IMO

they are all incredible players, without question.

im hoping these overpayments help us down the road...making guys like Toffoli and Pearson harder to sign, for example.

and I put Kopitar ahead of Toews defensively

Toews: 9 seasons.. average: 59.777P per season

Kopitar: 10 seasons...average: 64.7P per season

(short handed points) my tender one.

So you'd rather Kopitar on your team than Toews?

I'm fine with that, but i am the opposite. just an opinion!

he's by far and away the best well rounded C in the league

Toews is right there too

I'd take either of them over Stamkos if you want to know the truth

over the past 5 years (since ez)
I'd take a wild guess that LA was penalized more than Chicago, leaving more minutes on the penalty kill to be filled. Hence why Kopitar had more TOI. Either way, with less ice time Toews produced 3 times the points, take it with a grain of salt.

Both players are elite. I wouldnt pay more than 8 to Anze at this point, but thats why im blogging not GM'ing!

Kinda reminds me of when I go over to a buddy's house.

His fridge is always full of high-end Euro beers.

He always asks me what I want, and my answer is always the same, "The first one you grab will do just fine, thank you."
