New concept: With all of the draft picks and AHLers that the Leafs will pick up at the trade deadline, they pick up like a dozen goalies.
Sets up a new reality TV series a la Survivor/Big Brother where all the prospects live in a house and compete for the #1 starter position. - magmoo

I had a similar plan but without the survivorism, my plan was draft all centres and hope you hit on one of the picks. |

there are unexploited opportunities in the rfa market. i'm not advocating throwing a big contract at a player. that doesn't make sense or work.
the value in offer sheets is under $3.6M to me. squeezing a budget team or a team close to the cap on their backup or 3rd string goalie is where the opportunities in the rfa market are to me .
i trust this management team will exploit any undervalued opportunity at their disposal, including this one. - Tumbleweed
I suppose...I would just rather see them remain patient and not actively pursue moves that aren't low risk high reward. Just stay the course, don't throw around money, draft, develop, & sell high...rinse and repeat. |

Hang in, I think they'll share the net the rest of the year unless someone poops the bed - Garnie

The Leafs have more draft picks than anyone this June. Crazy idea, but why not draft one? |

Andersen, Hellebuyck or Hutchinson I'd be interested in the Leafs acquiring one of them but the rest
Sparks almost looks ready for a backup job or do you keep him on the marlies for another few years. |

If they were so tough, why is it so easy to injure? |

a 3rd round pick as compensation to dallas for jack campbell seems like low risk/high reward

I don't get this. I've seen it posted before, but I don't know why. Reimer has not missed more games to injury than bernier. - burn
Last three seasons, including current. Can't find total games missed due to injury, however.
Reimer: 89gp
Bernier: 133gp

Think he's looked a lot more confident, but more importantly focused...he steers puck to the corner but he still gets set...just in case. No more stinkers hopefully. |

long enough to know they have never tried to exploit the low-end of the rfa market |
