Really? That's the first place I went and couldn't find it...I know TSN used to give a total break down of games missed to injury.

Player page, bio tab. Shows signings, trades and injuries. Has name of injury (at least lower/upper body) and games missed.

You missed the Pittsburgh Penguins.

Fleury - Great year and pretty good contract for his production
Matthew Murray - 3rd round pick a few years a go. Big guy. Believe he was the top goalie in the AHL last year. Got a few games in NHL this year and played well when Fleury was hurt
Tristan Jarry - 2nd round pick year after Murray. Currently played decent in the playing time he can get backing up Murray in AHL.

atleast one of those 3 goalies will be traded in next 2 years. Jarry would be the cheapest. Murray I wouldn't consider trading for anything less than getting Kasperi Kapanen back. I'd still want a minimum of a 2nd round pick back for Jarry as he's producing where you would expect for a potential franchise goalie at the AHL level, but still pretty young. Jarry/Murray would likely be ready when the Leafs are ready to compete.

great thanks for your input, I was contemplating Pitts but figured Murray wasn't going anywhere...it's certainly worth looking at if you are the Leafs brass.

We have similarly aged players that are doing really well in the ahl.

I'd like to see a frieddie Anderson for kadri or jvr . But that will never happen . Or gm is a golie horder .
- Eman87654

It won't happen cause JVR is worth a little more than a backup goalie, has nothing to do with hoarding goalies...

Still, we are talking trading for hopefuls. That's no different than going overseas to sign Gustavsson or trading for Bernier.

What we need is a young goalie pushing out an established one, and jump on that (similar to the Anaheim situation I suppose, except I don't feel Andersen is a proven #1)

Bishop might be available soon. Always liked him. Wanted the Leafs to get him when e was in St-Louis.

We have a couple hopeful goalies in the AHL, but we need more, and quality.

the cap is going to hurt teams, we need to jump on another teams cap issues before someone else does and scoop up whats expendable to that team, IE. Andersen, Bishop, Howard/Mrazek or one of the goalies in Winnipeg.

There are some decent options out there.

I dont see Bernier or Reimer being in the Leafs long term plans.

100%. thinking about it more, teams tend to trade goalies outside of their conference in a pinch. so winnipeg/anaheim may be the most realistic options.

and i'm all for drafting a goalie this year ... but that goalie may not be a starter in the nhl for 5-7 years, if at all.

The analytics guys like him, think he's underrated. From what I've seen I see a guy that doesn't skate well, doesn't defend well, isn't physical and doesn't move the puck all that well.

Sounds like he's in need of a wheel chair
