More fun for me. Last year was desperation/panic to get one of Eichel/Jesus, this year it's more of a bonus than necessity and we don't need to finish dead last so winning also isn't frowned upon like last year. - Herzeleid
Couldn't have said it any better myself. It would've taken me at least another paragraph, but it definitely wouldn't have been better.

It's funny, everywhere I read said "Potter actor dead", but he'll always be Hans Gruber to me.
That look of surprise was very real. They dropped him on "one" instead of "three". But at least it was John McTiernan and not Stanley Kubrick who probably would've really dropped him off a building without any kind of countdown, and there may or may not have been an airbag at the bottom.

Some of the old relics still put on a good show, some of them suck-diddily-uck.
Saw the Police in Minneapolis years ago and didn't even stay for the whole show.
Saw the Who at F'N center probably 15 years ago with Ringo's son playing drums and they rocked.
And of course, Lemmy was killing it up until about a year ago at 68? 69?
I heard the Allman brothers are always good to see when they roll through town, but I've never gone.

Used to see them every year at Darien. Warren and Derek would kill it every time. All good things come to an end though unfortunately.
Should be a good time, cool to have front row seats to a living legend.
However, plant sounds terrible singing zeppelin songs. I know thats what most people want to hear, but its unfair to him. I dont really think he sounds good in general anymore. I watched a concert with his 'world' band on palladia awhile back and they butchered a few zeppelin songs.
At least musically that video was accurate and sounded pretty good.

As far as 80's bands(70's including Van Halen) I've seen in the past 10-12 years:
Van Halen, once- Meh, Sammy was about 230 lbs, guess no more blow for him. Eddie looked like a skeleton.
Metallica, three times- Saw them in '03 at Summer Sanatarium at SkyDome and they were upstaged by Limp Bizkit. I've seen them twice since. Getting worse by the year.

Can you tell me if anything that any president that you have been alive for has affected your everyday life in any way ? - cabin
I don't know how anybody could support that guy like honestly can you imagine him in a room with other countries?
The second he opens up his mouth we will get bombed
Really interested to see what happens with Fasching at the end of this college season. Baker seems to think he may sign with the Sabres. If thats the case he could potentially be plugged right into the line up - MCGUIZZY
They might give him a couple games at the end of the year since we'll be out of it
But he'll def need time in the AHL
Still has to improve his skating quite a bit to be an NHL regular (although he does look better than last year)
I also wouldn't be surprised if he went back for his senior season
Thank you. I biggest trouble I'm having is finding it. It flew out from under the stairs when I went to go get my laundry, but I was in my underwear so I went back up stairs got dressed and grabbed a flashlight. Haven't seen it since.
