Moulson Larsson and Ennis had success last season

Ennis has done nothing to validate playing on the 1st line

I do agree Moulson has been worse but I would rather him have a chance to play over Gionta haha

Just because he lead the team in points doesn't mean lead the team to anything. Briere and Drury lead that team to the playoffs. Max fed off of the league calling penalties and playing a 3rd line scoring role when teams couldn't keep up.

Once the league turned into what we see today Max found himself well in Russia. As proof of him going from almost a ppg player to a .5 point per game player just 2 years later

Except Ennis scores a lot of his goals around the net and in the dirty areas.

This is where I don't like the comparison. Max had elite speed, Ennis has great hands and is good around the net, not just on the rush

He's been back since Monday. With our defense, the only reason they should be sitting him is if they're finalizing a trade that involves him.

he's been here for a few days. Still sitting, unfortunately. Not too sure why, but if he's benched a few more games other than tonight which sounds like he will be, I won't understand the purpose. Franson can easily get benched.

He is up... just not suiting up because we are winning with our current lineup basically is how it sounds.

You could do worse than him in your top 6. I like him on the 2nd line with that cap hit, but wouldn't blink twice if we could upgrade.

Ennis does go to the dirty areas, the corners and in front of the net, but he hasn't this year. He has gotten away from what he was good at and is turning into Max.
