I only have three things to tell you about having a new born:
1. Sleep when the baby sleeps
2. Sleep when the baby sleeps
3. Sleep when the baby sleeps - bloatedmosquito
That'll work for my wife, she can sleep any time any where. I envy her. I've always had trouble sleeping. |

I think that is a tendency with the women Ive noticed. They sleep easier.
I suspect they are biologically programmed that way due to babies |

8 points above the bottom of the league, 8 points below top 10 in the league. Need to stop living in mediocrity. Selling Edler, Vrbata, and Hamhuis should get Van 3 firsts. Cap space and I bet doesn't even hurt the team. |

Can I have some of what you're having? Man I love Tuesdays...
Vrbata 'might' get a first if we can fleece the right team and he gets 7 more goals before TDL...tall order.
Edler is much like Hamhuis as we are waiting too long to move him. Hamhuis will no longer get a first and we are getting to that point with Edler as well.
JB will get what he can and move on. |

A lot of teams will be looking and less selling so a 1st isn't out of the question i don't think, a late first probably for Vrbtata.
Exactly why we have to move Edler now while he is still worth something. last year Braydon Coburn got a 1st, 3rd and Radio Gudas. Kimmo Timonen got a 2nd and 4th and hadn't played a game that year. (i don't think). Sekera a 1st and roland mckeown which was our second from the year before. Cody Franson got a 1st in a deal.
Can't say the same will happen this year but well I would put Edler ahead of all of those Defensemen. He's also not a rental will a decent cap hit. |

And waiving him was idiotic. Who is going to claim Grossmann, Dahlbeck or Michalek, and why wouldn't you waive them and hope someone like Vancouver is run as badly as you suspect the are?

Lots, admittedly. But I think he's worth it and we've got Tanev or Edler who are a bit better defensively to pair him with. I'm guess he gets 7-8 mil range and proabably wants long-term. - neem55
And in 4 years when he is slow as fudge still taking up 6-8 million in cap space and had another 3 years on his deal, will you still want him?
Yes I age he would be great for this team but not for the price hell want and not for the term he will want. He is not going to be worth it in 3 years let alone 6. |

Chara in 2011 is Buff now, Chara is a shadow of his former self and has lost some serious foot speed with age. He can however ragdoll with equal stregth to Buff - neem55
If that comparison is accurate, then why would you want Buff if hes going to drop off in the next 4 years? He wont sign anything shorter than 5 years and the Canucks aren't going to be contenders in that time, with or without him. I like Buff and say he is among the best D in the league but the timing with where the team is and his career arc just doesn't seem like it timed well for a deal to happen |

Blues just made a minor deal for a dman, looks like they could be making a play for Drouin with Shattenkirk? |
