Thought about it all day...why Willie would start Miller over Markstrom. Didn't make a lot of sense to me, they said they won't tank. Then it dawned on me, he knew there was little to no chance they win this game...so why not use it to get millers feet wet. Saves Markstrom to play in an arguably winnable game in Carolina. Well played Willie D , well played indeed. - Bullfrog77
because markstrom has stolen games before and was better than luongo last game he should have played. Miller just seems to lose games for us. but so far both goals are placed firmly at the feet of the team in front of him
Im wondering if its more just to rest markstrom |

We didnt stand a chance from the beginning. The Caps are a much better team than the ones they've had in the past.
Trotz gets the most out of his players.
I had zero expectations for this game. |

Tell me again how 2 bieaga's a first round pick and 4 mil in cap relief wouldn't be better for the rebuild? - Bullfrog77

that second goal clearly shows a outright lack of defensive framework.... I played D before. Coach always said stay in position, adjust it in smaller amounts but dont leave your post.
Entire team goes to the side, you never do that! that is for forwards not D.
This is further showing how badly this teams needs a framework. This clearly is NONE.
Wtf is lidster doing in his job? Appears to be pacman and nose picking
watch edler improve dramatically with a D system brought in |

Maybe they want to make playoffs, but ensure 15 OA so it is easier to move up. |
