In a 3rd pairing role he is.
I like Pysyk, but people act like we are benching an All-star.
Not too many bonafide top 2-4 D men go to the AHL for conditioning let alone sit when they are healthy - sbroads24
Plenty of twitter folk think he might be on the move (nothing credible mind you). I think he's better than third pairing and no way he should sit, but ive yet to buy into the "he's anton stralman 2.0" argument. |

Eberle. I'm not 100% sure what your organization's needs are, but I would start there if I could. - Wildschwein
Done. Pysyk for Eberle.

This. I think he can possibly be similar. But as of now, Stralman is much better offensively.
Pysyk just doesn't have a lot of offense to his game. I think he could potentially be a solid 3-4 guy. |

That easy eh? Decent size, RH, defensively sound and still young. Why the dislike? |

I would want to take that deal before anyone realized what happened. Pysyk is great and he'll be a good 2nd pairing guy. For a top 6 forward the only way Pysyk is involved is if it's part of a package.
Don't think I don't like him or want him on my team, I'm just trying to be realistic. He's a good player and I want him here for a long time. |

Not dislike, just doesn't share the same view of his ceiling as a lot of people (particularly buff media) seem to. |

There's no dislike at all. He's a good player. He just hasn't done much yet in the NHL. If you were giving a guy like Eberle who has 3 times had more than 60 points then I'd do it in a second. Bird in the hand is worth 2 in the bush. |

It's hard to tell if he has it in him on this team. I recall him seeing a decent amount of powerplay time in juniors (could be wrong though). |

Stralman was very much unknown quantity when he was 24 (Pysyk age yes?) as well. I wouldn't write him off yet. |

I don't think we've written him off, just haven't been 100% sold yet. He's projected to be a 2nd or 3rd pairing guy. That for a guy who is a top 6 player already is a good deal in my eyes for us |

Trading him for Eberle isn't quite the same as writing him off though (the way the leafs did with stralman). |

No dislike at all.
Gain a top 6 RW
Flip Ennis for a defensemen
Draft Chyrchrun.
That would be ideal if it magically played out |

Have someone take Moulson un retained would be at the top of my list as well. |

Pysyk is already solid. Not writing him off, but like 365 said, I just don't think he's playing 22-25 min on a cup team....ever.
He has a good skill set to be a middle pairing player |

Fair enough. Trading Eberle is a bit of risk for Edmonton in this case, but (frank) it I'd still do it. |

I actually still think McCabe has #2 potential.
He's solid and only 21, 3 years younger than Pysyk |

Best case scenario is top 4 imo. I think he could be a very good top 4 and could play top 2, but I don't think he'll be the lock for that spot |

Like him as well. Oil needing competent righties is why I target Pysyk over him. |

MON/ARIZ working on a deal. Reports out of Quebec Indicate Tinordi involved.
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO... a giant Defensemen involved and he's not coming ot Buffalo!!!
But seriously.. what that has to be for Boedker? MON needs a winger and Tinordi is a top 4 projecting DMan. - JVince11

Sad reality is he's probably scratched as a tactical decision, brought to you buy the guy who thought gionta deserved more powerplay time than our 2 #2 overall picks |

Wow, Murray sounds super pumped about Lehner coming back.
He really doesn't. There was a palpable silence after one of Frick or Frack asked if he was relieved to have Lehner back. |
