Best helmet ever: Butch Goring

some one had a helmet that was way too small and looked funny as hell. Might have been him I was thinking .

I see a couple of you saying "No bad goals by Lehner."

The last one looked pretty rough, but otherwise the rest of the game he looked strong. Bad rebound/positioning on first one too sort of. Shot by Chara had eyes, no chance there, and last one should be stopped every time... But I did think he looked good for his first game back

I dont feel like this game looked any different than the last 40. Got to score more than one goal. I cant crap on a goalie who lets in three but not crap on a team who gets multiple power plays and cant score. We need some scoring. I'll be interested to see who gets shipped out and who replaces them by the deadline and what the results are.

I'm not crapping on lehner, just don't think it was all roses, and no bad goals ;x

Team def needs to pot more than 1 to win though, you are right there. I am confident that we will be able to score with the best of them in the next year or 2, so at least there's that...

Only logical explanation I can come up with is that Kane needs contacts or glasses

I'm definitely starting to see the "low hockey IQ"
He's a fast skater, powerful, has some moves, but seems to have no idea how or when to work with his team mates.
He had two beautiful passes to the front of the net where there were no sabres in sight, but 4 Bruins. Simply picking his head up could have stopped that real quick. And I definitely think there should have been someone in front of the net, but there wasn't. So, don't pass it there.

Duguay was a player/coach down here in the echl2 league, didn't wear a helmet in 2003

of course he was not in the nhl that night

its one of those games that makes you want to bang your head against a wall because you know what they can do, they just don't even remotely do it.
Lots of sloppy passing, missed chances, and tons of disconnected neutral zone play.

Lehner has the ability .... if the Sens didn't have Hammond and especially O'Connor, loosing Lehner would have been way to hard - despite his struggles last season.

I see it as an all or nothing - either he will shine through eventually and become that #1 goalie or he'll be a back up that never stays with one team; don't see him as an average #1, he'll be really good if he directs his competitive nature

mark my words
, he'll have his day, I see him being a star of the week or month one day sooner than later
