Supposedly though he's been dealing with some sort of injury all season. The hit in Washington certainly didn't help the cause any I would think though.

Schneider situation is different, he wasn't a bona-fide #1, but he played at a high level while splitting time with another great goalie. Also had a few great playoff games

He was the best goalie available during that time period. Lehner, Lack and Talbot were supposed to be cheap options

our prospects depth is weak. goalies are a dime a dozen. you need a good one when playoffs come. we are not near/close playoffs. maybe 2 years away. should of waited to trade a 1st rd for a goalie

They pushed hard for Andersen before moving on to Lehner/Lack/Talbot. Wonder what the ask there was, especially if it was high enough to make Murray want to move on to paying a 1st for lehner.

The difference between Lehner and Schneider.. One is a back up goalie and the other is a top 5 goalie in the league. A first for Lehner was a waste.

I also think he will bounce back but I'd have no problem moving him for the right return.
