Well Lack and Talbot have been borderline a TIRE FIRE this year and even what was given up for them should be a COMPLETE over trade and they got BURNED BADLY!!!!

The canes goalie coach tried to change Lacks game and it really hurt him. Now from what ive read they are letting him play how he was taught in vancouver and his numbers have completely changed and is playing pretty good right now. Its too bad the sabres didnt grab him for a 2nd or 3rd I think he will be better than Lehner.

Pysyk's skating isn't just "good." Neither is his outlet pass. He's not a flashy guy, but that doesn't mean he's just "good" either.

Lack doesn't fit the timeline very well here though. He's older than Lehner by quite a few years. I'm fairly certain that was a big reason why Lehner was the target over Talbot and Lack.

if I remember right a big thing about why TM liked Lehner was that he at 2.25M for this year and next then becomes a RFA.

Lack was a RFA then signed a 3 year extention at 2.75M for 3 years then UFA.

Control was a big factor if I remember right.

I've been saying for months that I want to see him with Risto to see how they do together, so I'm probably not the right person to ask.

He's smart, he doesn't chase the puck, has a great outlet pass, and has an effortless stride that will allow him to play big minutes.

Like I said, not flashy in any way, but he's got a ton of tools to work with. I think he could be a #2, just depends on if he's given the opportunity.

Bizarre change. So, Nashville trades Bartley to Ariz for Elliott then Bartley and Scott moved to Mtl for Tinordi and a minor leaguer.
